  • So is this the Stereo or Mono side you're playing?

  • @TeeTownSounds Stereo side.

  • Did i just see Dave Matthews name on that record!?

  • There was recordings that were meant to be heard on vinyl, this is one of them, this 45 sounds much clearer than the cd versions of this song. Thanks for shearing!

  • I never knew there was such a group named Starland Vocal Band thought it was made up from that Simpsons episode where Homer Simpson has the name tattooed on his arm.

  • I have that one on 45rpm, but it doesn't have the mono mix on the flip.

  • On RCA.

  • @SlimeAmTheBest Windsong was a sub-label of RCA. The US has a reputation of being different than the rest of the world. Does'nt use the metric system, we call football "soccar", different record labels...You know..LOL!!

  • @HitsTownUSA It is also called 'soccer' often here; the first assoc. football league was established in '77 by European migrants.

  • @HitsTownUSA Wingsong Records was started by John Denver and his producer Milt Okun. Bill and Kathy "Taffy" Danoff of Starland Vocal Band were originally known as the duo Fat City, who sang background vocals on John Denver's big hit "Take Me Home Country Roads" in 1971. When Denver was given his own label through RCA, the Starland Vocal Band was the first act he signed to the label. The other hit artist to record for Windsong was Maxine Nightingale who hit with "Lead Me On" in 1979.
