Just because you've failed to find meaning and depth in Tropical astrology doesn't mean there isn't any. Personally, I know that I am a Scorpio, not a Libra as Sidereal says. I know this. You cannot tell me otherwise because you don't share my experience. Astrology is more than a method for divining physical blemishes - it represents an archetypal cycle of life and nature. The problem I've found with Sidereal is that it fails to take the Earth's influence into account, whereas Tropical does not.
