  • I would do terrible things for this car. Really bummed knowing it's going to be a LONG time before I'm able to afford the Chevelle of this quality. This is my ideal Chevelle, down to everything except the red paint. I prefer all black. Aside from that, the cowl hood, working gadgets, complete original restoration, and of course the manual transmission, is everything I want for this car. And there it is.

Someone put me out of my misery. :p

  • Sorry but the only Chevelle I know of that would costs 100k to restore would be a Baldwin Motion Chevelle or the Z16 mainly because all parts of this car, even down to the frame and skeleton body are remade and cheap and very accessible as are NOS parts. Which is probably one of the reasons Chevelles, while popular have never matched the price of the Cuda's, Chargers, Challengers, Roadrunners in value.

  • Dear Santa....

  • Listen to what he says at 8:35... Dude that aint right saying that you must put expensive things on yer car including tires to prove that you "love" your freakin' car. And for it to be your baby you have to spend all yer cash to prove that you care about it. That is soo wrong.Dude that make u sound like a lil bitch .... so i have a nice 69 camaro i grew up with and been through everything with it. but i dint buy the most expensive dual point distributer. now i dont care about it? pretty greedy

  • Im only 14 and I love cars. Dont get me wrong, but most young people who own these classic muscle cars have sorta inheritied it somehow. For example, maybe an old relative had one all his life and is passing it down to you. So Muscle cars arent only cars. They are memories of their time to whoever used them. But not me, Im only 14 and I'm already planning on gettin a junked chevelle or charger and restoring it over years. it just goes to show how much i like muscle cars even tho they're old cars

  • Nothing more funny then driving through a Dodge dealer. with a Chevy SS

  • tower clamps rule!

  • Awesome vid tony, I love the part at 13:25 !

  • Have you ever restored a muscle car before? It takes a lot of time and a lot of money you obvisouly dont appreciate anything because youve never done anything before. Then people have sentimental value with these cars. Just admit this one thing, you dont like muscle cars, which would explain why you dont think there worth the amount they sell for.

  • That car is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it!

  • Just saying i will own one when i get older i'm 14 right now, but i will own one my grandfather has a 69 chevelle malibu completely stock and its awesome!

  • great car tony i too own a 70ss 396/350 m21 love it,,good luck with the sale!!

  • Gorgeous.

  • Muscle cars are overpriced...

  • @kilagon10

this car worth 20 times more than your mom's Prius ;)

  • @gegu256

And 50 times more than your Dad's Gremlin...

  • @kilagon10 They are entusiast cars, and collectors are willing to pay the price for them. I have seen cars like this (with matching numbers and shit) going for $300.000, but cars like an orig. Corvette ZR2 or GT500 can go for like 1 million. just saying.

  • @89Carfreak

Exactly my point...Are the muscle cars worth $300,000 - $1,000,000? Hell No, but they know some people will pay that amount...And you're right, collectors are paying the price.

  • @kilagon10 The thing is though; that they see them as "investments" like they will gain / increase their value overtime as they become more and more rare, and thats why they are priced like that. But if you search around; you can find a nice classic corvette C2, Firebird Trans Am, Mustang ect. for like $4-5.000 in a good condition. So it's not all "muscle cars" like so, just the "special" / "limited" edition models that are outrageous.

  • @kilagon10 There worth what some one will pay for it and that goes for anything, not just cars.

  • @iLoVePiE10001

Negative...Sometimes they are not worth what people pay, as they are usually overpriced and idiots buy them anyway.

  • @kilagon10 To your there not worth it because you dont have the love and passion for them, I do. Pluse it becomes and supply and demand game too. If you have 10,000 people who want a car and theres only 4 others like it wouldnt you think the price will sky rocket? Buyers put the price tags on the cars.

  • @iLoVePiE10001

Negative...Sellers know buyers will pay a ridiculous high amount for a muscle car, thus auctions with high ridiculous reserves...It's basically taking advantage whenever possible, the good o American way...Right?

  • love the test drive part of the video! that is so cool to see (and hear!!!)

but Tony, do wear a seatbelt next time ;)

  • Oh and who cares if the AM radio is working or not when you have that "POWER DEPARTMENT" screaming beautiful music!!!! :D Love it!

  • Right...right... I would never really race the car....**wink***

  • Can't get any better than this!

  • love it!!! damn I´m living in germany! want some chevelle!!!
