Near the beginning you can see the long line of people with umbrellas in front of the Shanghai museums; it is always like this - long waiting time!

I agree Devilock79, part of me would love to see parts of China but after seeing the cruelty they display to poor animals etc, I cant justify it....everyone needs to understand how cruel the Chinese are and ban their goods from our shelves!! They'd soon have to chaneg their ways!!

hehe Unfortunately China makes about 80% of everything we buy. Even non-Chinese products are made using Chinese parts. I don't think an all-out boycott would work, just help raise awareness of this and it should stop eventually.

Yeah, don't get me wrong. I love the people and the older culture but it seems the current government is just completely brutal and oppresive. This is a small handful (I assume) of people doing this and it can be stopped very simply. Raise awareness and don't buy fur (even some "fake" fur is real).

@Devilock79 what would I know about it? I work there. not just in big cities but in tiny villages as well and the locals told me that yes there are aware about whats happening but they have far bigger problems to worry about such as where their next meal is going to come from.

Yes it's wrong and yes it needs to be stopped but it wont until the chinese people themselves can stop worrying about things like their own survivel

Well, I can definitely agree with you on that. It's horrific what's been done to the Chinese by their own government and I hope they can get rid of it and start again. I have a great respect for the people and the culture but there needs to be a lot of changes and I know they are doing their best. My comments were really directed more towards westerners who buy this crap and not give a thought to where it comes from. I apologize if I offended you.
