  • what a noice, use 1 fan, bigger, and put it on low rotation speed, no noice

  • make it in aluminum version and it can be sold on ebay :P

  • Thats one badass cooling fan ur laptop must luv u lol

  • well that's all fine and dandy, but I think we could throw a cpl half eaten apples everywhere and sell it for a couple thousand!

  • I like your laptop cooler ^^ cheap, usefull and ingenious :)

  • nice

  • that is a good design i like it

  • I made a similar kind of set-up by drilling a big hole in my desk, screwing two power supply fans to the underside (I drilled the hole beneath the laptop's main air intake) and rigging it up to an old phone power supply. With a ghetto duct-tape and wire switch, I can drop my laptop's running temperature by up to 30 degrees Celsius. Home-made productions rock!

  • I need to know what wires are for what on my power supply i'am going to use for a project like this one. My supply is labeled for what wires are for that come out but i need to know which wire to connect to turn ON and OFF the supply.

Thank you for Any info you could share,Rob

  • Holy crap! Nice!!!!

  • thats just freeaking great bro love the idea...........

  • @fixmypc101 he has the fans blowing into the box and his laptop rested on the front so the air comes out and blows on the bottom

  • i have a cooler fan, and the fan should be under the laptop

  • That's pretty cool! helluva power supply though...

  • c'est moche , tu ne mets pas en valeur ton pc

  • i made one of these...different design and its not hooked up to a power supply...wired it to a 12v addapter.....these things are real easy to make people, and they are cheap to make but vary strong.

  • Thanks all for kind words.

  • that's a unique design

  • say something !!!!

  • here I said something :).

  • @woosh3 ahahah

  • how much power can you get from a usb port before it blows?

  • with a fan you cant blow it. but the more fans you add the slower they will go.

  • simple but its awesome dude!!

  • awesome! but the air doesn´t affect you? coz seems like is going to your face too

  • ye most gaming/entertainment laptops get very hot like mine and i will get 1 soon of ebay or amazon they work

  • You should make a hole under the laptops side fan

  • yr my inspiration. I'm building one like this but a little different. for my dell XPS m1730 :D (its a little toasty). ill post a video response when I'm done. should be a couple of days.

  • @robbiexps Sweet video responce!

  • cheers bro

  • @robbiexps Haha I was just messin with you man. I was reading comments and you said you would post a video responce with the fan you built in a couple of days 10 months ago. How did the fan go by the way? I have the 1530 and am currently getting a custom fan built.

  • just curious if i use the PSU for 2 fan does it use more electricity ?

  • Wow. I agree. Can you say ghetto. lol. no, really, I give you an A+ for creativity. I really do. The power supply to power the fan kills me. But if it works, it works. 5 Stars...

  • @wwjoshdew

Yeah, it's basically made of junk. I was into recycling at the time. haha thanks for 5 stars.

  • @woosh3 Does it suck or blow?

  • you forgot to add the word "ghetto" in your title. but hey if it works then more power to ya!

  • alienware = opposite of ghetto lol

  • n1ce work

  • I love the heatsinks on the powersupply adapter lmao!!!

    Kev

  • wa... creative!!.. the fans turn and blow out the air at below.

  • that looks kile a disc spining and that alot of electronics. nice video kinda

  • that looks difficult to built

  • A different model is available on my page

  • use a filter....trust me

  • Thats sweet. Whatever you have to do and if you have all the spare parts lying around then why not. This gave me a good idea since I have an old desktop lying around somewhere. I think I'll do something like that considering that you don't even really need it that high...could make like a very thin extension all the way under the laptop with tons of holes. Sort of like a air hockey table. Thanks for the vid.

  • does that suck the air out OR blow cold air at it ?

  • blow air in at it.

  • thanks

  • wooooow that was a big power brick i knew u had a alienware =D

  • lol i wish u were my brother

  • I check the instructions out and holy....your kinda like the professer from giligans island. Can you make a radio out of a coconut?

  • lol

  • wow doode that freaken awesome. I have a targus cooler, but its only good for my gateway because it emmits little heat. Im going to try and build one of these monsters for my toshiba sat.

  • exactly like me i have one of those targus cooling pad and there not that good when it comes to more power needed..
