I like this guy, I just saw one with a guy in SF named Niel.. he had an appaulling attitude and called the girl who commited suicide a weak bitch. This guy is so sincere.. I want him to clean up after me if anything were to happen. not some money hungry tool like niel.
my friends step father shot his pregnant wife in the bathtub and then shot himself and my friend was the one who came home and found them he was about 11 at the time and it was so horrible if your gonna commit suicide do it where the kids wont find your body cause that is so traumatizing like wtf
My brother's wife and my parents had to clean up after my brother's suicide thirty-five years ago, when such services weren't common. I'm glad that others are willing to do these jobs now.
I was watching this, I know those people in the video, and I have a patch in that quilt behind them. I wasn't looking for this vid...came across it by accident. If any of the SOS from the Baton Rouge Crisis Intervetion Center are on here...contact me please. I miss you guys. I don't want to call out names of people as the group respects privacy, but Frank was my couselor too. -terra
Think people: As long as humans die, someone needs to clean up. Remove yourself from the human connection and do the job. Supply and demand knows no boundaries. I don't even do this for a living, but if I can help by doing it, I will.
fkin h8 bullies there should be a stronger policie and price for bullying for example see abullie kick the fuk put of em give him bit of there own medicine they whont do it again and if u say how dose this help u being the bully none stop bullying ended with one day of bullying seems good to me
Ih this day and age with and of the diseases out in the environment there need to be services like Tommy's which should be mandatory. Disposal of boihasrdous waste does not belong in the garbage can potentially infecting inocent people.
Of course they are! Those final moments are filled with thoughts of the loved ones that they are going to leave behind, and a horrible, horrible guilt at the fact that it's come to this.
If the health services were better, and there wasn't such stigma attached to mental illness, there would be less suicide.
As it is, (in Britain at least) unless you've actually got a gun to your/someone else's head, & are actively threatening to kill yourself/them, the doctors won't do shit.
@socialmoon ... I don't know ...I have a cousin that killed himself because he didn't want to spend 20 years in jail (trafficking drugs) he blew his brains out in his room..in his mothers' house... next to his lil sister's room.. while everyone slept in the house.. who found him.. his lil sister.. wasn't that a selfish act.. he took with him .. his mother and lil sister mental welfare..
@cegrace15 You've basically placed everyone, who has ever committed suicide, in the same category as your cousin. Not everyone who has committed suicide did so in order to escape certain consequences. Try telling someone who feels worthless, unloved, and views "ending it all" as an alternative that he or she is selfish and see where it gets you.
Awesome, Tommy. Compassionate, respectful and professional all the way. There are so-called professionals who go in disturbing blood and they are not wearing the proper gear...sometimes without any facial protection. (A mask alone isn't going to help you if you are cleaning blood with the HIV virus when it comes up and splashes in your eye.)
I dont know why im watching these videos...they're so terrible and horrifying. Im 14 and last year in gradfe seven we had a sudden assembly and i didnt know what was going on. Apparently one of my closest friends commited suicide. I've been over to his house hundreds of times and never noticed anything wrong with him or ever seeuing him down. He always was smiling and joking. It just horrifies me that someone i came to know very well took their own life.
I work for a bio-cleaning service out of Tulsa OK. I was on a job when I got a call that my brother had committed suicide. Thank God I had resources to get it cleaned up and never had to see it. He shot himself at my dining room table with my gun. Four coworkers cleaned my house for free. I am still so grateful to all & hope others know that companies do this type of work. After my brother committing suicide, however, I don't believe I will ever be able to clean up another suicide.
@penguin908 a friend of mine commmitted suicide and his wife my friend also had to come in and find him blown away. Heartbreaking. You know how they died but not a clue as to why
survivors of suicide. i know it sounds confusing lol. they mean that one of their loved ones committed suicide either their mother, brother, sister etc. they overcame their sadness or despair and....survived to lol
i understand what it ment i guess, if somones wife kills themself because of their husband then that can make the husband want to die o.O srry for misspellings im not english
I am comforted to know that this had an affect on you. I could never hire a person that couldnt feel anything but the money given to them for a loved ones remains.THANK YOU FOR BEING HUMAN. its about time.I think of getting into this line of work. and wonder how to go about it.
there are funeral service courses in colleges and universities, but you have to get a phychiatric assessment ,
just wanting to help people might not be the best reason to do this job, of course they will look at your body language and tone of voice when they ask why, but too much emotion in this line of work will result in burn out or post dramatic stress, it helps alot to joke a bit during the assessment
Compared to that other crime scene cleaner named "Neil" that I just watched in another doco, this Tommy comes across an Angel. Just the type of person I'd wanna have to use if the need be! Seconds the Kudos !!
After watching this video, I was just about to make the very comment you did. Unfortunately, any of us might need to use the services of a "cleaner" at some point in our lives, and I felt strongly there had to be CSC's with some measure of humanity-- unlike Neil Smithers... "Tommy's Clean Scene" team has restored my faith.
I have a great deal of respect for you guys and what you do. Not a lot of people could emotionally handle such a situation with tact and diplomacy required at such a fragile time in the survivors lives. You are professionally trained and it shows. I feel really bad for the families who hire people who are not well-trained professionals and who are unaware of the difference. Thank you so much for putting these videos on YouTube and for the great service to those in need!!!

So, if anyone is thinking of killing themselves, please try to do it outside or in the bathtub!

I think someone that does this...does it in a very selfish way... I don't think that person is thinking about their love ones..
