@AnarchyRiot23 Let me correct you here. First off the US and USSR had much tension between each other during the cold war, which is when this song was written. The only reason we never attacked each other was the fear of one nuking the others asses. Second off the US never had any good reason to nuke Japan in WWII; Japan surrendered under the condition that they could consider their "king" as a god and that's it. The US would only accept an unconditional surrender though. We tested the nukes.

Also the war in the Middle East has re-directed it's efforts from catching the guys who were held responsible to acting as a police state over there.
