  • I need little help or advice.

Can you film video, on which will tell what must to do with dog, that he will get used to new home. Or let already first day sleep in dog small house (outside of) or let be inside. Some basic information of which bi helped with to later education and constructions of trust at a dog....

    Big thanks!

  • @I2eQui3m and how much food and how long does it take to digest

  • My dog will pee in the pot but thinks she is suppose to poop somewhere else. How do I handle this?

  • how should i punish my dogs if they do somin they arent supposed to do?

  • Hello Erick: hope you have a little time to answer this.

I live in Sierra Tarahumara, in Copper Canyon, México, i have this beautifull 7 months old pitbull female, as i do a lot of time in the field working with indians in the sierra she roams free arround me. the last mont, 5 times she came full with human excrement, last time it was near our house in creel. i have never seen her doing it, so if i punish her later she will not now why the punishment... Can you help me about it?Tks

  • so how can i let him know that im the leader? how do you do that?

  • i know this sounds odd, but one way is to be sure to eat before he does and let him watch, then feed him, in packs, the pack leader always eats first.

and claim your territory, watch dogwhisperer if you have a hard time with that, he does it so well. hope this has helped!

  • thank you so much! =)

  • Thank you!!!!!

  • great tips!

  • Thank you for all the info. I haven't owned a dog for 14 years, working, and now we're retired and just got a beagle dachshund mix puppy, almost 5 months old. She's a beauty but I have been stumped on some of her issues, jumping; pulling on leash, too excited when people come in. I will be taking my time to look at as many videos as I can. Just watching the videos I have, is really helping. You keep it up, and I'll keep reading. Thank you, thank you.

  • hi my dog brian is 11 months old he is scared of everything around him he runs away from me and i'am not yelling at him or hiting him or anything like that i'am being veary calm and talking quietly but he is still afriad can you help me on that so i can start trianing him.

  • try using treats to lure your dog on leash .call his name throw a treat right in front of him to get his attention .hold another treat out so he smells it call his name give the come command when he comes praise.

  • Eric, how long would you say it takes to train a Labrador Retriever puppy the basic commands (up, sit, down, stay, come) from your own experience? Also, would you think it's a good idea to train it before its scheduled meal so that the puppy is hungry and does get its food/treats for doing what you tell it to do?

    Thanks in advance.

  • @DriftLinez 3 weeks

  • Ok, when i show my dog a treat he sits down right away and if i tell him like shake or paw all he does is stare at the treat. do you have anyways you could help me with that?

  • try putting the treat behind your back so he cant see it

  • how long should you crate the dog

  • thaks for the tips

  • Well said!!!

  • he says to use a ... what? i don't understand, could anyone tell me? thnx!

  • He said to use a "crate." It's the commonly used name for a kennel or cage. "Crate training" is basically getting your dog to use the kennel willingly. Some people think it's cruel to use a kennel, but my experience is just the opposite. I just recently got a big dog and started crate training right away, puting him in there at night and when noone's home. Other then that, he's free roaming the house and th crate is left open. It's his "safe zone" so has no problems using it. Hope that helps.

  • at 2:17 he says some dogs love cheese aint cheese a dairy product and i have been told by my vets that any dairy product is no good for the dog

  • **Some dogs**

  • very generous wisdoms, good advice, I don't even own a dog, but I'm thinking about maybe owning an Australian Cattle Dog (red) puppy. Who knows. At least I have some food for thought before I make the commitment!
