When i found out my son has Hurlers syndrome the second thing i did was look it up on youtube that was on 4/23/09 my sons 2nd birthday. I found you're website today and thought "wow that little boy looks familiar." I want to thank you for posting you're story, Its good to know that as dark as it gets our babies shine brightly.

I decided to just type in hurlers on youtube and see what came up. My sister passed away from Hurlers Syndrome at age 6.75, I did go to a MPS Society meeting in Seattle years ago. This little boy must be doing rather well as I watched the video I could see his physical changes for the positive. My sisters name was Ivy Brehmer and I miss her so much but she taught us alot and she was oh so brave. xx

Caleb is doing well. He still has a lot of medical needs, and I'm sure many surgeries in his future, but we take each new development as it comes, and thank God for everything he blesses us with.

Caleb is beautiful....Today was my last day volunteering at the 2008 International Symposium on MPS and Related Diseases and I have learned so much about MPS. These children go through so much in their short lives, but remain positive the whole way through. All of them really inspired me:):)

Thank you. That is the song "He's My Son", by Mark Schultz, and awesome contemporary Christian singer. A friend of ours mailed us his CD when Caleb was first diagnosed and told us to listen to song number 4. That song became our prayer.
