The BBC should have given the golf coverage to sky and stop making programmes like Strictly Come Dancing or Antiques Roadshow (In my opinion). What bothers me is that Bernie said before this deal that F1 on subscription TV would be "suicidal" now he's saying its super for F1, Bernie could have/should have given F1 to Channel 4 or something, it's still adverts but free-to-air!

the thing is football and crickets coverage in terms of hours is far greater than f1, meaning that football fans and cricket fans who pay for sky get a far better deal than f1 fans who would have to pay at £50 a month for what is 2 races a month in HD. £25 a race. Thats worse than f1 digital plus at £10 a race back in 2002.

May be Murdoch lost B sky B but that did not stop the political game where BBC wanted more money and was refused so now they turn on us F1 fans.

Technically we own the BBC we pay our licence fee (FORCED BY LAW NO CHOICE) and there-fore should unite in the streets and protest.
