  • so. First I watched how to make this thing. Very ingeneous. Then I watched the video to see how well it works. Very functional. Then I clicked subscribe. Keep it up.

  • a loader for a loader huh... but what loads the other loader?

  • If i still had my SKS i would for sure use this. Loading strippers by hand sometimes feels slower than single loading the rifle by hand.

  • Great idea.

  • Just got my SKS a week ago with some of the clips, thanks for the tip. could save my life someday!!

  • Nice way how you loaded them onto the stripper clips. Thanks for sharing :)

  • This is great. Please patent it before someone steals it from you.

  • Sweet Idea man, I'm gonna have to try and make this, thumbs up for you

  • Awesome idea!

  • @AndraCODpwnage Find a video of that and share it.

  • @AndraCODpwnage In all my years I have never seen or heard of a paratrooper version of the SKS that is magazine fed. Stick to your video games kid. The real world is a different place.

  • @DobermansRock There is a paratrooper sks version.

  • @sarge958 OK Ok Ok I get it. There is some obscure version that is box magazine fed. Great where do I find those mags and what is the cost? Oh ok more than a AR-15, thanks but no thanks.

  • @AndraCODpwnage I have never gotten into AK's or SK's. But serious I like the SK more and its downfall is the lack of being Mag fed. My Opinion...

  • And then we will discover the wonder of magazine fed weapons. IMO if the SKS was magazine fed it would be a better weapon

  • you are a smart man good vids nothing but respect and appreciation

  • sadly and most stupidly of me, I tossed out my stripper clips because I didn't know what they were for when first I bought my SKS 17 years ago

  • a stripper clip for a stripper clip? BEST IDEA EVER

  • very great idea!

  • Dude that is awesome!!...i hate putting rounds on stripper clips. it was the worst part about shooting one of my friends SKS

  • One hell of a cool idea, thanks for sharing it.

  • amazing nice idea

  • neat idea. i might try to time myself loading singles with your video, to see how much quicker you are.

  • @johnis4jesus Definitely give it a try. I have another video where I tried to "race" myself loading by hand vs using this tool, and it was quicker and easier on the hands. Thanks for you comment.

  • Awesome!!!

  • That is a pretty cool idea. But wait, don't we need a quickie loader for the quickie loader? Next project.... :)

  • @mtefft I take it you never loaded a few hundred rounds onto stripper clips before.

  • @taofledermaus I take it you have absolutely no sense of humor. :( BTW, you would be wrong in your assumption.

  • With that tool, you could load 1200 rds in about an hour at the rate you just moved.

  • @JonBurnsArt That's probably true, plus after a whie you get into a rhythm. Thanks!!

  • I just Bought an Russian SKS with CHEK rounds 1200 of em for 500dollars canadian. Can from a found bunker in Albania. More of em available...like 400

  • @flyguy4fun god damn you payed allot for that crate, i just bought 2 1120 round czech crates for 180 each.

  • @flyguy4fun Best price right now is $CDN 200 for a case of 1120. At Cabelas. Other places sometimes break up the case and sell 20 for $5.

  • lol ope this helps u kill somone faster XD Joke nice vid :D

  • great job

  • Nice job buddy...

  • Very cool ! ! !

  • Friggin brilliant.

  • what did you use to fill the mold?

  • good thing my millitary surplus 7.62x39 come ready in stripper clips :D

  • I got a 1440 rd case that was all 20 rds wrapped in paper w/o stripper clips.

  • yeah mine 2 10 round per little cardboard box. How much did you paid for? I paid 200$ for it in Canada. What about US?

  • I bought it in the mid 90's for dirt cheap. I think I paid $90 for the case. I also got 1200 rds on stripper clips, two of them wrapped in paper and in two big sardine cans. Some of it was lead core and some steel core- Chinese. Great stuff. I think they were stamped 1970. Never had a dud!

  • We have the exact same pack :) I'm in Canada too.

  • mine is czech surpus with 1120 rounds

  • @taofledermaus cool vid and great idea for fast stripper clip loading! But I need more stripper clips! Thats what it's all about. I can have a million rounds and only a hundered on strippers ready to go. Loading stripper clips quick is cool but I still need more clips in the end.

  • Very nice tool you have there!! =)

  • Thats pretty damn cool

  • I wonder if this is how it was done in the Czech ammo factories back during the cold war?

  • I don't load without my stripper clips anyway, but yea, a bit faster than one by one!

  • thanks. it is a neat little trick.

  • I watched the "making of" video first as it was provided by a link and I wondered just how handy such a thing could be... I've got to say, that is actually quite a bit faster! That would be pretty handy when you are loading before you head out to shoot.

Thanks for putting this up for folks to see.

  • Thank you! I'm glad you understand the purpose of the tool. It wouldn't be practical to load up stripper clips out in the field. I just lay out a towel , dump the ammo and load up 200 rds or so onto stripper clips and put them in a bandolier and I am good to go. Plus you don't have to deal with empty ammo boxes when you are out shooting.

  • Cool vid.

  • thats pretty cool

  • Isn't that nice, a speed loader to put bullets into a clip to put bullets into a magazine to put bullets in some sort of chamber to put bullets in someone (or something)

  • If you owned an SKS and wanted load up a few hundred rounds onto stripper clips, that is the purpose of this. You load SKS's with these 10 rd stripper clips.

  • where do you buy your ammo and where is it made?

  • I bought a couple cases years ago from ads in Shotgun news. Most of that is Chinese, some on stripper clips and some wrapped in paper. All were in "sardine" cans. I also traded an AK47 muzzle brake I made for 500 rounds of Russian hollow point at a gun show. I picked up some East German target ammo with nylon cores at another show. Weird stuff but it shoots well. Rounded nose and noticably lighter than lead core. Neat dark green laquered case.

  • I see. I'm only buying surplus, so it's already on the stripper clips. But you are right - Chinese surplus as well as some commercial ammo (even from Russia) does come in 20 round paper boxes. So that little thingy of yours is a great time saver :-)

  • lol thats hilarious -.-

  • why do you need to load SKS from the stripper clips? turn it around, open the mag, dump bulk ammo in, pull the bolt twice (first pull will let the ammo to settle down) and shoot! :-)

  • I can't imagine that being faster than zipping in 10 rounds from a stripper clip.

    -

Bolt is locked back, insert stripper clip, push down, pull off empty stripper clip and fire. There's no fumbling around with loose rounds.

  • that's correct. but anyhow it's faster then loading ammo on a stripper clip and pushing it into a gun :-)

actually I don't remember when was the last time I saw a 1000 or 1500 rounds box of Russian or Czech 5.45x39 or 7.62x39 coming not on stripper clips. well, except maybe for Chinese ammo.

  • It wouldn't make any sense to be out in the field and be loading ammo onto stripper clips THEN taking those and loading into a gun. This is to simply load up a bunch of ammo onto stripper clips before you head out shooting, just sitting in front of the TV or whatever, fill up a chest pouch and your ready to go.

  • thats a pretty neat idea. Im gonna have to make one of these when i load up some yugo surplus im gettin.

  • nice here in canada my sks is restricted to 5 rounds in the clip but stilll very usefull!!!

  • Bravo!

  • Hmm. A solution in search of a problem?

  • That makes little sense.

  • wow all i hear is a resounding RETARD!!! a solution in search of a problem? its a box full of resin or whatever molded around the bullet all u do is stick 10 rds in there and slide ur clip over

  • Comment removed

  • More time than you spent posting your self-serving comment.... cya

  • good idea

  • wow... genius. now i need to get an sks...

  • what is the white case that you are using?

  • It's a cassette tape case, filled with resin, the bullets are placed in it before it dries, and then removed. A little silicone spray or light grease on the bullets prevent them from sticking when making the mold.

  • I hope that you will make another video for making that case.

  • Ok, the new video is up. Follow the link I put inside this video.

  • Thank you so much man!!

  • very smart and simple thx

  • That's genius! Thanks for the help.

  • neat

  • Well done! Great Idea, and yes it helps.

  • Thanks. It actually works better when you lay a towel down on the floor like in the video. (as opposed to doing it on hard table)

Then you can watch tv and your wife doesn't complain too much that you have ammo all over the carpet... lol

  • Ingenius, very impressive. It always seemed to be easier loading AK mags or an SKS through the top with never used stripper clips. Even one use seems to widen the gap on either side that holds the rim of the cartridge resulting in binding.

  • Now make one that shows how to get stripper clips to work in Tapco detach mags. Mine always stop up and I have to take it out to fix it. Please reply if you know how>

  • dude if you patented that you would be rich

  • Lol, patents are very expensive. I've invented numerous things over the years and looked into patenting a few of them. Patents only offer slight protection, as it only takes a small modification by another person to go around it.

  • but you could still sell your idea

  • where did you get that block thing from?

  • I can't believe no one has asked yet. What it is, is the bottom of a cassette tape case. It can be anything the same size. I then poured in some fiberglas resin after putting some silicone mold release on the bullets and simply set the bullets in this while they were on a stripper clip. After it set, the bullets pulled out easily. You could use epoxy, etc, and lightly coat the bullets with grease for the same results.

  • Very clever.

  • what device is used exactly?

  • The little block that collates the bullets and matches the arch of the stripper clip so all the bullets can be slid on in one motion instead of putting each bullet on one at a time.

  • nice!!

  • dude your eginuitive...

  • subed you thinking to get a sks 5 stars faved it.
