If you were playing the piano, or the trombone, or the violin, etc she would be oh so proud and brag to all of her friends how her little boy is going to be in a famous orchestra. But since it's a guitar, she immediately sees no value in it, even though the chances of you being able to live off of your guitar playing and a violinist being able to live off their playing is about the same, if not in favor of the guitarist.

30 years ago I got the same ass reaming from my mother and father that I was not going to be a "Success " with my life unless I got a job that made lots of money, That my art and scultping was " A waste of time" 7 years ago after being outsourced from my 5th job in the IT business ( I actually trained the guys that replaced me/the team) I went ahead and began working in my art. 30 years ago I got the same ass reaming from my mother and father that I was not going to be a "Success " with my life unless I got a job that made lots of money, That my art and scultping was " A waste of time" 7 years ago after being outsourced from my 5th job in the IT business ( I actually trained the guys that replaced me/the team) I went ahead and began working in my art.
