Wormholes MIGHT exist, we have yet to discover and detect them. Making a wormhole would take more energy than we can conceive of.

Roswell is the only Alien UFO crash that to me looks plausible, but I think that any tech we found at Roswell was so far advanced that us humans could not get how it worked. If you believe there is technology that can do this, then you watch too much science fiction shows. There wouldn't need to be extended life. Going close to the speed of light, would mean time slows down for the occupants, so hundreds of years would tick by in just a few years. However, the power necessary to reach those speeds is immense. A ship would be too clumsy.

You could never breach the light barrier as time no longer ticks away for you to increase speed, plus your mass would become infinite, so an infinite amount of energy would be required to push any further. There was no scientist that ever said man could not break the speed of sound, it was always possible.

As you approach the speed of light, it takes more and more energy to move a ship closer to the speed of light. With enough energy reserves, a ship could go as fast as 99.99% the speed of light, however there is no amount of energy that could get the ship to go that 1/100th of the speed of light to attain it.

There has been nothing that can be observed (or even theorized) that can exceed the speed of light. Sure, there have been claims, but nothing substantiated. This would have a detrimental effect on objects close to the ship as it passes. It would perturb the orbit of any mass if it got close to the gravitational eddy created by the ship. You'd probably could only use it outside solar systems.

We have yet to make any substantial amount of anti-matter and have it exist for more than a fraction of a second. How would we utilize that energy? So far, it would be a grand explosion that could not be contained, plus it would be an immediate release, not a sustained release of energy. This would move us incredibly fast, but not light speed.

By your reckoning, the moon changes size or at least changes it's distance to the Earth. It's obvious to any observer. It's larger when it's near the horizon than it is up in the sky, proving that it's either changing size or moving further from the earth as it rises in the sky and comes closer when it's setting.

String and M-theory have lost the support of the scientific community. We can't manipulate space-time in any way, how would science bend space and punch through it to make a wormhole? @AravisX Black holes are still only theory. I believe they exist, however, wormholes have yet to be shown to exist. You can see the effects of a black hole (using the gravity lensing effect). Wormholes MIGHT exist, we have yet to discover and detect them. Making a wormhole would take more energy than we can conceive of.

Very few scientists believe black holes are worm holes. The idea of white holes stem from science fiction more than science theory.
Why do NO observatories EVER report approaching UFO's? They're observing the night sky all the time, yet not one report alien craft.

Roswell is the only Alien UFO crash that to me looks plausible, but I think that any tech we found at Roswell was so far advanced that us humans could not get how it worked. That is why Roswell remains a classified case. To keep the tech in the hands of our Government so they can test the tech until they understand it. I believe Roswell is the most plausible UFO crash case.

@maadd100 Nothing can travel faster than the speed of light. Nothing with mass can travel as fast as the speed of light. If you believe there is technology that can do this, then you watch too much science fiction shows. There wouldn't need to be extended life. Going close to the speed of light, would mean time slows down for the occupants, so hundreds of years would tick by in just a few years. However, the power necessary to reach those speeds is immense. A ship would be too clumsy.

@67tr876 This comes from a mind not scientifically based. First of all, the closer to the speed of light you go, the slower time is for you. At the speed of light time will stop for you. You could never breach the light barrier as time no longer ticks away for you to increase speed, plus your mass would become infinite, so an infinite amount of energy would be required to push any further. There was no scientist that ever said man could not break the speed of sound, it was always possible.

As you approach the speed of light, it takes more and more energy to move a ship closer to the speed of light. With enough energy reserves, a ship could go as fast as 99.99% the speed of light, however there is no amount of energy that could get the ship to go that 1/100th of the speed of light to attain it.

Not sure if I should respond to another one of your posts, as it is clear that you are stuck in your inability to understand basic physics. There has been nothing that can be observed (or even theorized) that can exceed the speed of light. Sure, there have been claims, but nothing substantiated. The only way is to warp space-time where you compress space in front of a ship and expand it behind. The ship would "surf" the warped space, assuming we can come up with such technology.

However, there is no way to do so, unless we can create enough energy, currently calculated as the amount of energy contained in Jupiter's mass, to be able to create the gravitational trough a ship would have to fall into. This would have a detrimental effect on objects close to the ship as it passes. It would perturb the orbit of any mass if it got close to the gravitational eddy created by the ship. You'd probably could only use it outside solar systems.

We have yet to make any substantial amount of anti-matter and have it exist for more than a fraction of a second. How would we utilize that energy? We have to figure out how to create a gravity well in front of the ship. This could move a ship faster than any propulsion engine. The closer a ship approaches the speed of light, the slower time goes for the occupants. They'd experience a few days tick by, but outside the ship, time goes normally and a couple hundred years would pass (assuming 90% the speed of light. Their families would be long dead.

It's larger when it's near the horizon than it is up in the sky, proving that it's either changing size or moving further from the earth as it rises in the sky and comes closer when it's setting.

@11mrjarjar Although near light speed travel would slow time down for the occupants of a craft traveling that speed, there doesn't seem to be any conceivable way to build a craft capable of obtaining that speed. First thing to consider, the energy necessary to propel a craft to such a speed would be nearly impossibly immense. Next, the ship would need to navigate distances to avoid collisions. And, would have to deflect debris without affecting it's momentum. Every action has a reaction.
