Being fast and light is an advantage over short distance. Most small sprinters are very fast starters over the first 30-40 metres, but they fade hugely over the last 50.

What I'm saying is, most sprinters probably do similar 40 times as Hester, but that's only because they've conditioned themselves to run 100 metres.

To run a fast 100, you need to be very strong and powerful. Not agile and electric

You have to be very powerful to run that distance fast. They're probably 50 pounds heavier than they would be for their optimum 40 time.

If you got a sprinter, and conditioned him for a role as a kick returner, they'd probably drop 50 pounds, and end up doing something closer to 4:10
