It seems to be a real gun to me, just customized. Whole gun looks to be hard chrome plated, slide skeletonized and deburred. Springs seem to be lighter weight than stock. However, probably a RIA .45 turned into a Colt copy. I agree this is the Philippines where they make RIA and Armscor; and now counterfeit Colts.

I myself own one,it is a .45 Colt Defender series 90 lightweight, but mine was purchased 2006 and got a 1000 rounds FMJ record as of date.it groups at 1-2 inches at 7 yds Mine got a standard Novak rear sights and a Fiber Optic front. Its frame is extended like that of 2011 45 Apeiro made by STI Arms.It has amicro compact frame and comes only with one 5 round magazine.Best for concealed carry.:D

that's not a Colt, and definitely not a defender.

First off, their little trademark on the slide is all wrong, secondly the rear sight is dovetailed differently on a colt defender, Third, the dust cover doesn't extend all the way to the end of slide, and lastly, who the fuck would take a dremel to a defender and "polish" it?! You do that to your high-points and rugers, not the $800 colt.

I hate to create conflict, it is possible that the pistol shown in this video was sold prior to 2007, however, as a defender owner I can't say that pistol is genuine.. My colt has no front slide serrations, and on both sides of the words, colt defender, are two horses( colt insignia)... I dont believe that this pistol was made by colt, but I could be wrong, can someone shed light on this???

I agree 100%, it is possible that the serrations were after market, you can also see that the barrel was ported and the entire gun was given a high polish chrome or something similar.

Yep, this pistol is not made by Colt, but by a backyard gunsmith, using soft iron. I bet this pistol can't withstand more than 300 rounds. This gun is fake. Made by a backyard gunsmith somewhere in Danao City, Cebu Philippines. The steel is made out of molten junk galvanized iron. Look at the quality....it sucks!!! And that FAT FAG doesnt even know what trigger discipline means.
