you can find trickflow head's for around $800 if you look for them. The cam is about $160. A decent intake will be $400-500. you will also need little things that will add up to alot, like rockers, studs, head bolts/studs, and plenty of gaskets, sealent, oil for 2-3 oilchanges in the first 1500 miles, ETC

but it is worth it.

That is sick. I hope my car isn't that loud when it is done. I have BBK shorty headers, OR H-pipe, and a Pypes cat-back and it is loads quieter at idle than that. Now I have a new shortblock (spun a bearing, motor was clearly abused before me) putting a TFS stage1 cam, performer RPM intake, and probably TFTW heads. Figuring I will have about 310-330 at the wheels when done. 75mm TB and L MAF tuned with a tweecer RT. We will see how she runs. sounds sick.

Cool man...yup its the stock 302 block...cobra MAF and injectors and track Heat Kit with full exhaust thaaats it ...and its perfect IMO

@FloorboardKkK At 100K a well-maintained (but driven hard) 5.0 will have almost zero wear on the pistons and cross hatching still visible in the cylinders. At least, mine did when I tore it down.
