@Jmbk7278 Section 106 grants the president the right to confiscate property and so on and so forth, Rex 84 also grants even more powers to the president if need be and allows him to basically do whatever he wants. Although Rex 84 isn't part of the Pstriot Act per say but they do go hand in hand.

The president can authorize the seizure of property of those who planned, authorized, aided, or engaged in such hostilities or attacks against the United States. They had the same type of orders in WW1 and WW2. Rex-84 is the policy for martial law, but M-law can only be put into effect if there is an immediate threat of evasion or disaster, such as Katrina. M-Law can only be put into effect if agreed by all 3 branches of Gov.

I don't think you realize the full gravity of the situation when your commanding officers tell you to go against this oath. The press aren't around anymore, to report these issues you have to go through the chain of command, aka, commanding officers, and if you do this you will more than likely wind up in military prison, dishonorably discharged, or you'll get fragged. It is an illegal war. You are given a contract that states you must conduct yourself appropriatley and according to the geneva convention. However if you receive an immoral order, like invading iraq and afganistan was, then you are not bound to follow it. The contract becomes void. The US has a VOLUNTEER MILITARY. It was my choice to enlist in the Marines and it was this guy’s choice to enlist in the Army. With that CHOICE we took an oath to defend the constitution against ALL ENEMIES and to obey the orders of the President. “Theirs not to make reply, Theirs not to reason why, Theirs but to do and die”. Soldiering is not a job it is a duty sealed by an oath. This man is a coward because he gave his word, and now he is running and hiding.

The majority of the actual constitution just defines what type of government we have and the roles of each branch. The bill of rights then defines the rights of the citizens. You’re right a soldier’s first duty is to the constitution, but the president did not issue orders to overthrow our current government or take away from citizen rights.

Article I: “The president may threaten a foreign nation with force or actually conduct military actions to protect U.S. interests, aid U.S. allies, and maintain national security”. He can do so without a declaration of war. Supreme Court Case to support, The Prize cases, 67 U.S. 635, 17 L. Ed. In the Case the Courts decided that congress can veto the president’s action, but congresses choose not to with the Iraq War.

@Jmbk7278 Section 106 grants the president the right to confiscate property and so on and so forth, Rex 84 also grants even more powers to the president if need be and allows him to basically do whatever he wants. Although Rex 84 isn't part of the Pstriot Act per say but they do go hand in hand.

The president can authorize the seizure of property of those who planned, authorized, aided, or engaged in such hostilities or attacks against the United States. They had the same type of orders in WW1 and WW2. Rex-84 is the policy for martial law, but M-law can only be put into effect if there is an immediate threat of evasion or disaster, such as Katrina. M-Law can only be put into effect if agreed by all 3 branches of Gov.

The honorable thing to do would have been to report the incident to his unit commander. If his commander refused to deal with it, then contact the press. They'd force an investigation.
No, what really happened here, and it is blatantly obvious, was that this man got into the Army, got deployed, and wanted out. So he made up something, and fled to Canada like the coward he is. He swore, as all of us have sworn, to protect and defend the Constitution.

I don't think you realize the full gravity of the situation when your commanding officers tell you to go against this oath. The press aren't around anymore, to report these issues you have to go through the chain of command, aka, commanding officers, and if you do this you will more than likely wind up in military prison, dishonorably discharged, or you'll get fragged. It is an illegal war. You are given a contract that states you must conduct yourself appropriatley and according to the geneva convention. However if you receive an immoral order, like invading iraq and afganistan was, then you are not bound to follow it. The contract becomes void. Following orders blindly is no excuse, if it was then the allied and soviet reprisals upon the Axis powers chiefs of staff like Jodl and Tojo were illegal themselves.

He was micromanaging so much that his generals were reduced to making reports and asking him what to do. Hitler made huge mistakes, specifically during D-day that may have cost him the entire war. Not the German military was strategically great until Hitler started with his temper tantrums, and firing/killing Generals.

Besides you dont conquer most of western europe in a year without having an excellent staff. Rommel, Guderian, Model were geniuses and literrally invented modern warfare. I lost my unborn child when I was 20 because I could not afford to give my then fiance the money to have a shot from the hospital.
You see our blood types were so different that her body was creating antibodies against the fetus.
I was in the military at the time, we were not contractually married so the military refused her health care. I lost my child as a direct result.
Ask my ex-fiance what she went through when even the military I fought for refused her health care to save money.
