The laughing, whiskey-cigarette Edie at 0:15 was he Wikipedia picture. The true icon. She wasn't a sex symbol like Marylin or Liz. She symbolized geniality. Here is the love goddess who wants to buy you a drink.
@ZenPapageno Right. That's absolutely correct I think. Except I would buy her a drink of curse! Anyone could probably fall limblessly in love with Edie at the time.
Hey, did you know theres a retrospective of Nat Finkelsteins work from 20th Jan - 14th Feb at a gallery in London called IDEA GENERATION. He documented Warhols Factory in the 60's. You should check it out! :-)
Hey guys, thanks for all the comments; and for the people asking for kim milford's justice, send me a message with your email address and i will send you the song. sally
perfect! wonderful video!! yeah i've been searching for that kim milford song for about 2 years now..i cant find it anywhere!! can somebody send it to me too please?
WOW I've not seen all these pics! No matter what she was doing, it was picture perfect. No one has ever, or probably will ever, be able to pose like that; and she was totally herself. I envy that. Again, great pics
the best and rarest pictures of this broken angel i ever seen anywhere.....excellent work, i'll bet this would be a real thrill to the people who were really close to her back then. RIP edie, damn it, why'd you leave so soon.
It's an excellent set of photos, many not often seen. As the song says, she did break hearts, and I'm sure there was a lot of weeping at her funeral. At the Warhol funeral? I wonder.
Oh, Edie is adorable in every picture. One of my favorite ones is at 2:30. Just the sweetest girl you can ever imagine.

Kim wrote Justice and recorded it when he was with the Jeff Beck Group. They are the backup. It was released as a single in Germany.
