  • "Dis time its different...yah?"

    HAHAHA HILARIOUS!

  • the guy's dutch not german..

  • It's a good interview, certainly a much better interviewer than the robotic zombies on bloomberg or cnbc.

But all these journalists, they think nothing ever goes down, there will never be bad times. Funny to see a gazillionaire like Jim have to defend his positions.

Get out of his way, let us hear the truth.

  • Well said JB! Although sometimes I think journalists also need to ask the stupid questions. This guy is clearly more knowledgeable than most of them, which is great for the interview.

  • If he says commodities, how about stocks that produce commodities ACH, X , stld, FDG, ...?

    Someone please reply.

  • Haven't seen these videos yet (thanks for putting them up), but what Jim usually says about the producing companies is that if you know a lot about them and think they are run great, have a good balance-sheet and future view etc, then you are good to go with them. But he also always says, companies can go to zero, commodities can't.

Generally I think he is most for water treatment companies (mostly Chinese).

  • Date of this?

  • 13 November 2008

  • Part 2 is most interesting in my opinion.

  • Great stuff..
