Impressive, but the best bit was the look on the tour guide's face when she was asked by a guy how many Dreamliners they have delivered? "We have 46 in storage around the airfield" she says. 787 is a joke. It's gona be nothing like the original projection. Heavier, less economical, less range, the high-density model has been cancelled indefinitely. And it's gona be made from near non-lightning resistant materials that also can't visibly show cracks or stress. The whole plan is a joke. Even the original plans didn't seem groundbreaking. Fucking time-wasters.

i can know which is which plane in under 5 seconds(im serious) but theres to many planes that are the same to the 787

a350,767,757,a310,a330,a300,a3­60 etc

@youngglasskid the best way to tell 787's apart from the other airplanes are the number of cockpit windows, and the wings. 787 is the first boeing plane to have only 4 cockpit windows instead of 6.

I have to add another comment here ....Never fear ...it might be late & their might have been problems with the quality of the out sourced parts but in the end the 787 will be another example of the superior engineering and craftsmanship expected from Boeing. The employees might be frustrated but that just seems to make them work that much harder to fix the problems & put out a product they can take pride in

My husband was telling me that everyone talked to at Boeing (this video circulated through the companies in house email system for weeks) is convinced that it must be a Boeing employee that put this together hahaha. Wouldn't surprise me, all the guys & gals I've talked to from Boeing have been just as frustrated as the customers have to be with the delays & also the poor quality of the out sourced parts.
