The polyphony issue is a old issue that affects all the Korg keyboards. Muted programs in combi mode will eat polyphony. Even the Kronos has this issue. Is just the way Korg assess the programs in it's OS. In this area Kurzweil's PC3/K will run circles around the Kronos. It can have 32 layers per program and 16 channels of program in "combi" mode. Muted channels will not eat polyphony and even if they do, Kurz dynamic allocation decides which notes to mute, etc.
Hi I bought the korg M-50 61 key and I have a simple problem which I cannot resolve. Actually the buttons are with touch sesitivity which means when I press the keys the sound depends on the touch of finger's fource like a grande piano. Anyone can help me how can I remove the touch sensitivity please?
I'm a newbie owner of a M50. Please, could you explain what are you exactly doing when you press the "up" button twice (0:12) and then once again (0:17)? I suposse that you are changing the Combi program, but afterwards you don't play, but the drums sound a bit different.
Are you using a Drum Track or RPPR? I'm trying to do some covers and I'm really lost.
@javieroldan: Hay buddy, thanks.. I was just changing the drum pattern with up and down button.. I am using the drum pattern.. You can sort and save your drum pattern such a way that when you press the up button it will change the variation.. You can use your pedal as well to do that,, But the funny thing is that its lot more easier on Yamaha PSR S910.. :)
@Rishat23 Thank you very much for the quick response! :)
I haven't realized that you can change the Drum pattern in the same way that you can change the program/track, and this way to have drum transitions. Thanks again, you have been very helpful.
