Macy's is terrible, indeed. I'm an American and it is not that well-regarded. It is absolute mass market mediocrity in retailing.

In cities like Chicago and Miami, the Macy's chain is reviled for taking over long-cherished local stores with its dismal merchandising and horrid fashion sense.

I did read that Westfield was working to get Barneys in there, but it never materialized.

Speaking of bland, why does Westfield literally name all their malls the same, whether in the US, UK or Aus.?

I went there earlier today, it was amazing much bigger than Bluewater, I was comparing it to America when I went and the malls in America are not bigger then this.

Its a Shop till you drop '' the car parking is £2 per hour which is expensive..unless they are doing it to attract customers because its new etc.

Great place, time went by so quickly lots of celebs there & more will be there later on tonight, Katie Price, judges and Xfactor contestants.. great place, shame about the area it's in.

Well if you like shopping for luxury goods and if you have plenty of money, you'll love it. However, I personally think it is too big and could have an adverse effect on local businesses and traditional high streets close to this new complex.
