@MrPrincefuego yes I did see that but thought a little thank you at the end would have been appropriate...not a big deal but great accompanying, too often the musos are forgotten.
OK, not only do I want to BE Audra McDonald, I also want to BE the guitarist!! Since I will never be either, it will have to be in my dreams....a more perfect voice, beauty and presence will be almost impossible to find.
Beautiful!!!! I was sold already after the very first four-note phrase. This woman is an incredible singer. Impeccable, sweet, sweet timbre and so much soul. Sounds like she didn't pass the audition for a stage musical - because she was way too good!!!!
Why the heck didn't I know that woman can sing big time?
On a side note: brilliant acoustic guitar playing!
I love her voice. I had never heard of Audra until Private Practice. I'm glad she did that stent on Private Practice so that I could be introduced to her. I loved her there and I'm really happy to hear her beautiful classical voice.
Audra McDonald is wow. She is a great person. Truly unique. It must make those who faught for equal rights many years ago so proud. They will point at her and say it proves they were right. If proof was ever needed. Thank you Audra for existing in this world.

This is a truly amazing woman. She's got it all - gorgeous, a great actress, and an incredible voice. It's too bad that I can't give this performance six stars!
Audra grew up in Fresno, CA. As a youngster, she got involved with our local dinner theater group, The Good Company Players, starting with the Junior Company when she was 8 or 9, advancing to the adult company when she was 16. She graduated from Roosevelt High's School of the Performing Arts before going on to Julliard.
Her late father was the principal at the HS my two kids attended - what a proud papa he was!!
this song represents my baby cuzon who unfortunately passed away 3 days b4 her 1st birthday so this songs means an awful lot to me, and this really made me cry she is amazing! x
great version...would have been nice for her to acknowledge the wonderful guitar playing!
