  • why does this video mention Samantha Womack when she is not present in it at all???

  • 3 years to wait.. xD

  • no he has to come back before 2012 the world may end there i want to see more of DT i love him he's the best doctor who ever. he's the reason why i watch doctor who he make it have life. not just he looks but his personality while playing the carachter. i just love him

  • I would love to David Tennant return to the role in a "The Five Doctors"-type story with him, Paul McGann, Christopher Eccleston and Matt Smith, that would be fantastic, brilliant, MOLTO BENE!!!

  • They should make a series with Tennant and Piper in the parallel world

  • there is a deleted scene from series 4 the final episode where the doctor gives the human doctor a piece of the tardis coral so he can grow his own tardis so him and rose can travel!

  • @ghostbuster0209 That'd be so cool. I'd love to have a series that addresses them. We can always dream, right?

  • Yeah I heard about that. So annoyed they deleted the scene!

  • Aaaah! Is that in the DVD special features? I wonder if they have that in the Canada DVDs.... :D *dashes to her nerdy DVD stash to find out*

  • @ghostbuster0209 omg really?!?!? where did u see it?

  • @melian06 It's on Season 4 DVD Boxset as special feature!

  • @ghostbuster0209 WHERE DID YOU SEE THAT??? PLEASE TELL ME!!!

  • @ghostbuster0209 where is it?

  • @fakeandgaygirl It's on Season 4 DVD Boxset as special feature!

  • I totally agree.

    That would be so awesome.

That sounds more interesting than the current idea of having someone else play the Doctor and having a different TARDIS.

Also since the Doctor is part human in parallel earth, so he would probably have to deal with human issues like lust for rose and reduced brain power.

    I would love that.

  • That would imply he didn't have to deal with lust for Rose when he was a Time Lord! xD

  • @ nellytheninkynonk

Sorry, I just meant that with his brain power he has more self control than humans.

(Remember in the Shakespeare code he said "That kind of magic wont work on me")

I just think it would be more intensified for him as a human.

  • "That sounds more interesting than the current idea of having someone else play the Doctor and having a different TARDIS."

What? Do you have any sense of the history of this series at *all*?

Wake up, people, The Doctor has been played by TEN DIFFERENT PEOPLE. An the interior of the TARDIS has changed several times as well. That's part of Doctor Who. Always has been. Always will be. Deal with it please. Tennant was wonderful, but he decided to move on...and we should too.

  • true. it'd be nice to have both though. One can never get too much Doctor, .5 or otherwise. ^^

  • @TheComposerguy i now what you mean it's just they passed of such an amazing and exciting and also very brilliant acto to one that is not a crappy one but let's just say he's no david tennant

  • @fakeandgaygirl smiths awsome, ur just too addicted, yh i liked tennant, but same thing happened with eccleston, just let go

  • @gogallifrey

Never liked Eccelston; he seemed totally miscast as Dr Who. But I loved Tennant and Tom Baker--guess I like the scenery-chewers!

  • i think i would literally die of happiness. besides world peace, what else could i ask for? haha

  • Oh, that'd just be... MAGICAL. :D :D :D

  • @ballybally1 No... they shouldn't...

  • @ballybally1 AGREED!

  • i hope he comes back in a film involving the 9th, 10th and 11th doctors, that wid be a british sellout :D

  • 4 with the 8th :D and maybe 5 with the 7th :D and the list goes on :D:D

  • Like Eccleston, the money is in Hollywood not jinxing Tennant though but if his comedy bombs he will still work and if Smith isn't staying maybe Smith can regenerate back to Tennant? But either way, Tennant can do a psuedo Two Doctors 3 with Smith of course!

  • IT wouldn't surprise me that if ratings drop, they might pull some kind of "No time lord's ever reverse Regenerated before!", yet the doctor does, and would probably involve the Human Doctor in Rose's universe.

What would make it interesting would be if the doctor counts his healing regeneration where he retained his image, Matt Smith would be the 12th doctor, and the doctor would constantly be scared that it's his last regeneration.

  • Hahahah, that would be the funniest thing ever: "reverse Regenerated" :) But I think it would have to be pretty extreme for that to happen; Matt Smith would have to be like the new series' Sylvester McCoy to warrant that. :D

  • No, it would be cheating to have the 10th as the 11th. After Smith, if he stays after 3 usual seasons or want to break the record if he will not get sick of the character. there is 2 more incarnation after the 11th. So the Doctor has a total of 13 forms and personalities until he dies. But somebodu of something out there will grant him a new set of incarnations!

  • Well he wouldn't be just the 10th. He would be the 10th and the 11th, which would explain why he loved being the Doctor more than any of the others.

He was the only one who actually saw it as his own death, and didn't want to go.

If the series is still popular by the 13th doctor, he'll get some loophole, just like the Master did, starting in, what the mid 80s?

Also, the new series doesn't seem to be playing up a limit on regenerations.

  • Yeah I do forget, let's say 11th Doctor get's badly hurt and about to die, the clone merges with him and reverts back to the 10th. What we see in Logopolis.

  • They should do what they did with the old Doctor Whos, and have him chris and matt smith all meet up =D

  • we might not get to 2013, the world will END in 2012 :P lol

  • You haven't learnt anything, have you? The Doctor WILL save us!!!

  • 3yE, what are you talking about....

  • @AStickManProductions omg i just said that

  • i neaely cried when the doctor died but still this other doctor looks kinda cool so just see what happens

  • id like to see some of the other doctors make cameos, have like a "the four doctors" episode or something

  • Tennant could make a comeback if the alternate universe opens up again since he left part human part doctor there.

  • true but the half doctor half human can age he can grow old so it wouldnt be the same

  • matt smith actually looks pretty good, based on the few seconds he had with the end of the christmas special

  • i actully didnt want to watch doctor who because david tennant was leaving but then i realised i should give matt smith a chance but i think he isnt going to be as good as david tennant and i would like david tennant to come back and be the doctor again does anbody knows why david tennant let or did he what i dont know

  • Give Matt a chance ... because David is going to!! He is a fanboy as much as anyone and wants the show to go on. It was a huge bump when Tom Baker left but Peter Davidson was a great Doctor Plus, David is going to be working non stop so if you are only a Whovian because of David, and will stop watching because he is not in it, your choice but there will be plenty of Tennant action to see. Try Glorious 39 - not in it for long but a great part ... Im looking forward to Burke & Hare!!

  • ..... a brilliant job. Karen as well. It's going to be fantastic =]

Ok rant over =P I'll leave you now with the words of The Doctor as I say:

    Bring on Series 5!

    "Allons-y!"

  • ....which is so sad because the amount of times I've heard that said, I get the feeling there's going to be a significant drop in the viewing figures, which will ricochet round BBC HQ and they'll either thing Matt isn't doing as good a job as they hoped, which I'm sure he will, or they'll think the show's becoming unpopular =[

Give the new show a chance. You've obviously found it bareable to watch so far. So what if David is leaving, change is part of the show and Matt will do....

  • I for one am rather upset about going into the new series. Not because David Tennant is leaving, not because I don't think Matt Smith will be good enough, I'm sure he'll be an amazing Doctor, it's because of the fans. Not all of you, just some. A large percentage. It upsets me to hear all this "David Tennant is hot/fit" and "I'm not going to watch Doctor Who after David Tennant leaves, he's fit and Matt Smith isn't"... You obviously don't watch the show for the show, only for David....

  • @pianogenius2006 100% agree with this. It really bugs me that people aren't even going to give him a chance, just because they don't like the way he looks or think he's too young or whatever

when David Tennant first came on, people didn't want to watch because they thought he wouldn't be good enough - and now look at him!

  • Exactly! I'll admit I wasn't keen on David when he first came along, and I hated his suit/converse combo... But now I love him. He's a brilliant piece of casting and that's how everyone should view Matt. Let's face it... He's not gonna be The Doctor forever... And if people genuinely don't like Matt, then they can always regenerate him... But I for one am going to give him the same chance I gave Christopher and David... Bring on Christmas, New Year and 2010!!!

  • @michellesvids3, I too didnt want to watch dr who when David Tennant came on, when I saw Christopher regenerate into him I didn't think dr who would ever be good, but the first one I watched I thought he was amazing, and all he done was sleep :P

  • @AStickManProductions me too he just makes people ant to watch him as the doctor

  • DT is gonna be the master when matt smith is the doctor the BBC have said themselves a while ago

  • Sorry WHAT?really?Didn't hear about THAT.

  • *longing sigh* in the words of another British Treasure, 'se non e vero, e ben trovato'.

  • BLimey you've all heard of the 10 Tennors - what about the

"10 Doctors"......ok maybe we would have to make a few sneaky little digital reworks but hey the bbc can do it.

  • but what about the human version of david who is with rose, he might come back with her as the doctor but not the main doctor the human doctor

  • Really this is the biggest key they have!! I read one time they were thinking of having a series with Rose in the alternate dimension, what is stopping them from a whole series with the human doctor and Rose and Mum and Dad and Micky?

  • @DrWhovian lol micky isn't there he married martha and i think because the doctor is human and he can grow old

  • If he did return, it could be a multi-Doctor story

  • thats the beautiful thing about time travel, it gives you a lot of room to play with the characters, they could bring back tennant, the master, anyone really...

  • I know its inpossible for the Doctor to regenerate into his past appearences but think about this, if people really want David Tennant back then maybe the BBC might put him back again for all he's fans sakes.

  • I realy hope David will stay at doctor who!! He was my fav!! and you must admit he is kinda hot :D

  • kind of? mega understatement! ;)

  • it could very well happen- we could have a 4 Doctors scenario- Tennant, Smith, Eccleston and McGann! :)

that is if Smith lasts that long ;D

  • it's not impossible for the doctor to regenerate into one of his old forms.

    tennant could return in 2015.

smith's contracted until 2015, don't know about you lot but i am enthusiastic to see smith as the doctor, there's alot of hype, maybe he will be good.

alot of people said tennant wouldn't be good cause he wasn't well known, smith is the same and in 5 years everyone will be saying, "WE WANT SMITH TO STAY".

  • i am sure he will return someday for a special episode, they mostly always do.

david tennant loved the role so there is even more of a chance.....hoping !

  • @topliff12345

Great way to put it! My first Doctor was Christopher Eccelson so I was mortified when he left. I really didn't like Tennant in the first episode or two, but now I like him better than Eccelson! Who knows, maybe I'll like Smith even better! (even though now I am doubting anyone can be better than Tennant).

  • YAY DAVID!

  • You know, its so pathetic where this came from, at comic con David was asked if he will ever return by a fan & he replied "Oh, I don't know. I've not even gone yet. Maybe someday. Its coming up to the 50th Anniversary , I think. But don't twitter that, its NOT an announcement"

The day people decide to listen the better.

  • of cource he wont return this is just another mad rumour created by the media he has finished and is over with Doctor who its very unlikey he will return after they got a new actor

  • Actually, he made the 50th anniversary in 2013 during his panel on Sunday at Comic Con...so if it's a "mad rumour", he started it :)

  • exactly... he didn't rule out a return for a SPECIAL, but the media report conveniently left that part out.

  • Tennant return?

    MOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEE

do I need to say it again? =D

cant wait to see it on the big screen.

  • Oh, please, BBC bring him back!

  • i hope he does!! David Tennat is Fiiiittt!!!

  • best Doctor there has EVER been

  • i agree Best Doctor and Actor to have ever been part of Doctor who . on behalf of fans i would like to say We Love You David Tennant (*Weeps*) please return??

  • lol
