i never liked captain planet. i guess i thought it was annoying. the weird part is that i kind of felt bad about not liking it because it's trying to teach kids about saving the environment and doing good but that didn't matter i still hated the show.

The part with the gang violence scene was spot on....some of the caritures they showed were those that didn't live in a era of street violence or even racial violence, so that half that of those scenes didn't make any sense.

alright, I will admit that was pretty funny, but for the record if kids can handle HIV/AIDS on sesame street, they can probably handle it on Captain Planet (google "Kami (Takalani Sesame character)"). Besides, there were so many misconceptions about HIV in the 80s and early 90s, that an episode like that would be beneficial, even for kids.

However, I will say that the vilian's evil plan to generate chaos with HIV rumours was a pretty weak plot line. You win this round.
