@SonicGeneration Wrong actually, thats Greater Manchesters population which is the equivalent of West Yorkshire urban area,The city of Manchester acutally has a population of 420,000, the city of Leeds on the other hand has a population of 810,000 and is part of the West Yorkshire urban area with a population of 2.2 million. I think you'll find that goverment investment is down to Manchesters success unlike Leeds which is only successful of its own back and private investment

Went to uni there. The city is land locked with only a small canal to walk along. Also the night life is good, but certainly no better than other cities in my opinion....i.e. Manchester, Liverpool or Newcastle Upon Tyne

I had one of the best times of my life in Leeds, it was so cosmo, the amber of the barbi smoke (& gear) was eveywhere in Headingley, when the sun shone on a weekend the whole place came alive, I could smell a Friday instead of a Sunday. Long live Leeds! ...... & I'm a Manc, but I adore your city.

Leeds has some nice people, but its getting worse with the racism, the football fans really ruin it for everyone. I was there during the time when Mr Craigs was for kids and The Gallery was the place to be. BTW did you guys ever hear Gabrielles original Dreams?

Its just too "dog eat dog" now, everyone sits at home with their doors locked. And the police do more harm than help. I would say Headingley is the last place in Leeds worth visiting, and even thats getting crime ridden

Leeds is modern,clean, classy, prosperous, switched on with great night life & shopping & apart from a few exceptions has smarter far suburbs. OK some Leeds Utd fans have got a bad reputation, but those idiots aside Leeds, is a friendly welcoming city you can walk through without looking over your shoulder.
