  • i love Bishop Ellis version of pass me not-

  • @apostolicreturns I really jus get on the computer and listen to these old hymns. God Bless you for all the old hymns

  • I CAN'T DO MY HOUSE WORK, BECAUSE I'M HAVING CHURCH!!! THANK YOU LORD FOR YOUR , GRACE AND MERCY, AMEN- AMEN!!! HALLELUJAH !!!!

  • dis is 1 of my favorite favorite song, this brothers&sisters performed it amazingly. Thank Almighty God 4 them, i love it3X.

  • Every time I come to youtube to listen to something I get annoyed by the ridiculous comments... I'm a musician. I could complain if I hunted for something to complain about it. Instead, I'm enjoying this. I could do that much even before I was born again.. why is it Christians are debating about gospel MUSIC, and COMPARING stuff... instead of just enjoying gospel?

  • Thanks to whoever posted the videos it has really blessed my soul....Thank you im from GA and this how my Grandfather preached....I miss this kind of teaching and signing...I know what the songs me..Thanks You....Lord Please do not pass me by

  • I agree with nHarmony20774...I believe the organist & pianist are on point!! There are some other things that I don't like(but I'm not going to mention them b/c i don't want people to start going crazy lol) if anything the drummer is hitting the crash too much but he doesn't sound bad either...MYSTRO SAYS KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!

  • you really just can't beat the old hymns of the church. They speak to you personally and in a way that cant be mimicked by any new gospel song

  • yes lawwwwd! good music!

  • The organist and pianist are playing too many chords and are too busy for me to hear the choir and solist. The musicians at Mt. Moriah Baptist church in LA are the best I have ever heard in accompanying a choir.

  • I totally disagree. I believe the organist and pianist are on point. Very nice blend. As a matter of fact, the two together give this hymn some punch...

  • I ran across this video lastnight and I absolutely LOVE THIS SONG! I Love that old school gospel music. The gospel music now has nothing on the true meaning of what gospel music is suppose to sound like. Kirk Franklin and others should take a lesson in what traditional gospel music is suppose to sound like. The music they make is total garbage. Go back to the true roots of what gospel is and stop thinking about your paycheck. Hip-hop gospel just tarnishes the word of God in my opinion..

  • I truly love this man of God. Grew up with his family and my family from the home church in Chicago. Also, these are the songs that will take you from here to Glory. The new songs they come and go, but these songs are foundational.. I lead our praise team and yes we do the contemp, the fast and the young, but I tell my church and praise team that these songs are the songs with meat, these are the songs that will keep you through your tests/trials. Trust me these are the songs I fall back on

  • great rendition

  • Beautiful truly beautiful!! The right man of God lead the song..

  • Thank you Jesus for not passing over or by me in judgment, but in the fulness of His grace and mercy...

  • WOW!!! WONDERFUL!!!

  • excellent!!

  • Excellent!!!!

  • Im loving it

  • Lord this takes me back to Temple Baptist church

  • This is my first time of ever seeing or heard of Bishop Ellis. How did he pass at such a young age? I'm sure his family was very proud of him! 50-70 is young to me!

  • i read somewhere it was a heart attack

  • COME ON VOL! LIGHT OF THE WORLD CHRISTIAN CHURCH!!!!! I was like 9! wow!

  • is that dr. leonard scott at 2:58?

  • yes it is, this was a Tyscot project

  • Annoited!

  • The organist, as many of you have mentioned, is Chicago's own Brother Nash Shaefer (last name may be misspelled). He can really play the traditional hymns and worship music well!!

  • Thank God for Bishop Ellis. I had not heard of him until I started with You Tube. It is such a rewarding experience to see a preachers how sings the old praise songs with great emotional praise but have not forgotten about the hymns of the church. May these clip never be destroyed.

  • that also bring tears to my eyes. and whoever that was on that organ, you betta keep on playing!!

  • "rojeezy", super Amen on your organ observation. An anointed Hammond organ player can practically single-handedly facilitate the flow of the Spirit in a worship service. Some may argue or dispute this, but I believe it to be absolutely true...I've seen it happen. Historically and Scripturally, the Word tells of how David the Psalmist / Harpist would play the devil right off of King Saul. Good Vid "apostolic returns".

  • Bishop Ellis...........Outstanding!!!Rest in peace:

    Rev. Michael Capps, D.D., Th.D, Re.D, Ph.D

  • That's Nash Schaefer on the Organ! Back in 1990 Dr. Mattie Moss Clark had me to go pick up Nash from the airport, he was coming to town for one of her recordings!!!!!

  • thats some real organ playing!

  • man this is my style of singing devotion style this IS WHATS UP!!!

  • YES SIR!!
