I am 16 and have been in relationship with Christ Jesus my Savior for 12 years now. I am extremely blessed with a great family and many talents. I'm in Gr.10 going to a Christian school and living in a Christian home yet life isn't as great as I try to make it seem. My parents fight a lot, I'm pressured to be this devout Christian, expectations from everyone that I have to live up to. I have a rep to keep but I don't know how much longer I can hold on. God seems like such a lofty idea and I doubt I will ever be close to him. I really hope what the lyrics of this song are true, because heaven knows just how empty and desperate I am.

It actually says in Matt. 12:32 "Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man (Jesus) will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the holy spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age of the age to come," secondly, what's yelling at the guy gonna do to help our cause? As Christians we're supposed to be different, to encourage and lift people up. Screaming that he's stupid just gives him more reasons not to become a christ-follower.

I was in love wit my best friend but hid it from him cuz I didn't want to ruin our friendship, I was so confused, and we almost lost our friendship becuz we were both so stubborn! One day he finally let it all out n told me he loved me and this song describes it perfectly!! Thank You God for giving me to him! @fredisaguy You shouldn't do it period. When it comes to our faith, you should never make any compromises, no matter what. I know its difficult. But once you make one compromise, that will give Satan a foothold over you, that will only lead to more compromises, and then you will one day look in the mirror and wonder what happened to your relationship with Christ. And normally, if you're asking a question if its okay to do something, its likely not. Its a part of man's nature to wonder what line

@fredisaguy there is to cross, where is the point where when I cross it, I will be rebuked, chastened, disciplined etc. You need to be careful, trust in God, and what He tells you do is right. Deep down, you know that its wrong and that God does not want you to smoke pot.

this song has spoken to me as well :) im sixteen - and have dangerous mood swings. anyways last yr - before i accepted Christ into my heart (as a jewish teen) i was so bad, my depression had turned suicidal, and it seemed like nothing could stop me from emo-ing myself. so i was influenced by some messages, and my friends brought me to Christ :D i have forever happiness now - and this song is the message i give to other teenagers juz like i was...cuz its the only thing that will help sometimes...

I am 16 and have been in relationship with Christ Jesus my Savior for 12 years now. I am extremely blessed with a great family and many talents. My relationship with God has its ups and downs as does every ones but even when I mess up I know he is there for me even if i can't fell him. There are times when it is tough and you want to give up but don't because even when your heart is broken he is the healer and will mend your broken heart. And while it is healing you will be in your daddy's arms.

Wow this seriously is a song that speaks out to me... I am 17 and I struggle in my relationship with God. I always let it falter because I feel like I do not deserve happiness. But that isn't true because I am His child. I struggle with depression and anxiety and I need Him to help me.

I am so thankful for this song, God is amazing. this is a good page on Facebook, it is pretty small but couple days a week there are posts with songs and bible verses =] It is called "words for life" It has 17 likes right now, and has been out for over a year =] Check it out, don't like it if you don't want lol Also, there are discussions on there too! I love this song. I am in a recovery 12 step program. My admission of my powerlessness and trying to manage life with my own power,instead of Gods power. This was the beginning of my HEALING. It gets better one day at a time with God as my new manager. May you find Him NOW.

I would love it if you could pray for me to help get closer to God. I am catholic, and I used to go to a catholic school. My experience there was not so great, because the kids weren't the nicest to me and such. I feel like it made my relationship, on my end, with God weaker. And yet I try so hard to believe, but I sometimes feel like I just can't, because I have so much doubt. Please pray for me to help me get closer to him. Thank you, everyone. I appreciate it so much.

My friends understand that we need Christ Jesus, if we do not recognize that we are all sinners and must repent before the Lord then we are on our way to Hell... It's so easy to Love Him, we only need to make a choice to try.

I'm in Gr.10 going to a Christian school and living in a Christian home yet life isn't as great as I try to make it seem. My parents fight a lot, I'm pressured to be this devout Christian, expectations from everyone that I have to live up to. I have a rep to keep but I don't know how much longer I can hold on. God seems like such a lofty idea and I doubt I will ever be close to him. I really hope what the lyrics of this song are true, because heaven knows just how empty and desperate I am.
