yeah its all the same thing but hes insane aye so quick and precise. i had the privelage to go to his perth seminar on the weekend and it was the best thing ever i reckon learnt so much. i mean 9x world champion and 7x european champion was the british coach hes been retired for 10 years but trust me he is still so quick

he's a great person. I met him in 1991, in a karate meeting. nice and gentleman, and of course a great fighter. we went to disco and one guy of the security told us to go away from some place (don't remember why). I can't forget Wayne's face, while walking calmly away. for that guy was the luckiest day, he never knew.

Wayne trains in Uechi - Ryu Karate, we both come from the same dojo, our instructor in Terry Daly, Although thew style itself doesnt teach free fighting, Terry always promoted this and has some very good fighters come from our dojo.. I have trained for many years with Terry and has the pleaseure of fighting Wayne many time in club and association contests.

Sorry ui must be thinking of a different Wayne Otto, The Wayne Otto I trained with was Uechi, he is still on the Uechi ryu website, and he was Uechi when I visited his house and hosted the Kent Open karate Championships with him. sorry for the confusion. I also have Waynes Dan grading on Video, but that would have been a Uechi grading, so your probably right, I was thinking of someone else.

well his style is Shokukai...(i think thats how it's spelt) which is similar to shitorio.

and basically he's the best britains had 4 like ever. but he's retired i think now and just goes around doing seminars for different clubs. (he told us once his motto is "if i attack i score, if they attack i score.")

his favourite move is to sweep the legs (as you can see) and when sparring with him i advise never to go to the left. he won the world championships 9 times and is a very sound person. OK?

he was world champion "open" of wado kumite in 1988, 1990, 1992 if I remember well...
