I'm reckoning that's what it may be, but when I had my 00g skin eyelets they looked fine and they are the same depth wise. I waited 7 months between 7/16th and 1/2in, the lobe shouldn't have thinned out, right?
Hey, I'm having a bit of a problem with these Kaos skin eyelets. I just bought a pair of half inch, and they cover the bottom of my earlobe. I was wondering if you or anyone else has heard of this issue. Or if anyone is encountering this too haha.
Thanks for this video it was the only one that I watched and was able to get my silicone tunnels in after wards so really thanks :) btw how painful outta 10 is it to get a scaffold bar piercing ?
@MrPooface11 Smaller sizes are often harder to get in than larger ones. Just do what you can to make it as easy as it can be to put them in. Take a shower before you put them in, make sure your ears are fully healed, and try using some kind of lube.
i have that size gauge. i sized up right n the middle of the mall yesterday xD but when i use silicone plugs. i squish them the way u do but put it n through the back, its easier .
@JustVibn Without seeing it, it's hard to tell. You'll want to have the right angles for both holes, and make sure that the gauge is also correct for your industrial bar. I'd take your ear to a professional piercer and get them to look at it. They shouldn't charge you because they're not actually doing anything to your body.
As for silicone stretching, I've done it twice, both at different sizes. The first time I did it, I had no problems whatsoever, but the second time I wound up ripping my ear up. So it really depends on the person and size of the ears. I would honestly stay clear of it just to be on the safe side.
I can't get my 1/2 inch silicone tapers in! I have 00g plugs in and i can easily put in a 1/2 inch taper. But the silicone is impossible to get in! I tried doing what you did, but they never complely unroll and form a complete circle! I need help :/
@HaydenBelk123 Everyone's ears are different. 0G - 00G is supposed to be the 'point of no return', but some people will probably be able to go further and have them go back to normal, where as others may only be able to go to say 4G - 2G. Sorry I can't be of much more help.
dude your videos are really helpful! You made me decide to do the streatching by myself instead of always going with a pro. It's pretty easy actually; now i'm 0g! Going for the 00g this week and after 000g. I think that's a nice size and i 'll stop i there. Anyways, thanks man!
@XNicoleKillingsX I'm going to assume you mean 2G. Just keep trying, you'll get it eventually. Try putting them in after a warm shower, it loosens the skin up a bit. If all else fails, take it to a professional piercer to get them to put them in for you. They shouldn't charge you for it (unless they're super stingy) because they're not actually piercing you, they're just putting silicone in your ears. But yeah, hopefully you'll be able to get them in yourself! :)
@JU5T2J0KER How long have you been at 6mm? Also, how big are the flares? I've seen some tunnels with some ridiculously big flares which look impossible to put in which I'd recommend staying away from, but I'm not really sure since I can't see yours.
If you could make a video showing them and send it as a video response to this video, then I'd be able to give better advice. :)
@MrGarystevenn If you're asking whether it's safe or not to go from 1.6mm to 3mm, then I'd say yes it is pretty safe (I've done it three times), but it is going to hurt. A lot. So jut get ready for an unbelievable amount of pain haha. It's for that reason that I'm NOT doing this type of stretch for my conch haha.
i made a video like this of how to put in silicones. didnt go well, burt my hand, and struggled to get them in -.- i should have practiced and watched this before trying ahaaa
I have 2g tunnels that I think are silicone, they are "softwear" brand. My question is how long should I let freshly stretched ears heal before putting them in?
@bmxbeast462 Wait until your ear has fully healed before trying to put it in - minimum two weeks, after that just listen to your body. Once it has healed, angle the plug/tunnel (not gauge) then feed the rest through. I might wind up making a video for it in the future if that would help more.
@greyops33 6G is a little small for silicone plugs/tunnels, which is why you are finding it hard to get them in. The ideal size for them (in my opinion) is between 0G and 9/16".
All that I can say that might help is to try using some sort of oil or lubricant to help slide them in whilst holding them in the V shape. I would recommend jojoba oil as I use it myself to help slide jewelry in, and it also helps to thicken up your ears.
@xxOH4R4xx How the… Ah well. Just try to fold them into the V shape again and again. If that still doesn't work, try putting them in like double flares in the shower. If you have some jojoba oil (or any other type of ear-friendly oil such as emu oil, etc), use that instead. That should do the trick. :)
alright so i have some 6g silicone tunnels with some fat ass flares. should i just shove that shit in since i cant really squish it into a small ball thingy or what
@Pezzi69 Hm. 6G might be a little too small for silicone tunnels (I'm not sure why they sell them to be honest). I would say let your ears heal *fully* before trying anything with them. Try to squish them up as much as you can, then try putting them in at a slight angle. I hope it doesn't bugger up your ears. D:
@LetsPlayGuitar409 Well, I know that when I am trying to put my 0G tunnel in, it is pretty hard, and it takes a few tries to get it to stay folded over till I can get it into my ear. It may take some practice, but there really isn't any more to it than just making the 'V' shape with the tunnel and sliding it in. It might be a bit easier if you try putting them in straight after, or even during, a shower. Try using some type of lube on your ear (try not to get any on your fingers or it'll slip).
@elishayoungx That depends on where you live - For me, local places sell as a few millimeters. I'm not quite sure how small because I haven't really paid attention to the smaller ones for about a year. :p
Oh you confused me sooo much in the past 3 days :P
And yeah they look big for 10mm, That means I can stop at 10. Im just sooo confused because if you wear double flared on 8 and under mm they look small, but if it's 10mm and above it looks big. Weird.
@BenskyBen Yeah I dont think they sell Kaos Eyelet at Lord of the Jewels, I've seen them at Chatswood. But if they're not double flare then...... I've only seen double flares at Lord of the Jewels
@jablomeewood No worries! I'll be doing another silicone tunnel video going up to 3/4" some time in the next few months - I just want to stay at 5/8" for a while.
@tom15911 Is it a double flared tunnel? It's usually best to wait until your ear is used to the new size before trying to put in double flares because you have to put them in at an angle to put them in properly.
If they have no flares and just O-rings, take the O-rings off, put the taper in, then push the taper out WITH the tunnel/plug.
@BenskyBen you can get them on a website called metal mafia. i dont know if you can buy off the website so talk to a local piercer and they might order them for you. i want my eyebrow pierced again to get a corkskrew.
@BenskyBen no problem. and i do have a question about this video. i can not figure out my silicon tunnels i really cant get them in do you have any advice?
@twowords1 It depends on how big they are - The smaller they are, the harder it will be to get in.
In any case, try some lube on your ear/tunnel. It'll make it a bit slippery and hard to hold on to, but once you get a proper hold, it'll be easier to get in. Also, doing it in the/just after a shower help too - The heat allows the skin to be more flexible :)
@BenskyBen it has been awhile since i commented but i thought i would tell you that the shower trick worked with my double flares..but now i have a different question. how do you take them out?
@BenskyBen i love you more than he does <3 how long did you wait after moving on from 2? or did you skip them or what? i just stretched my left ear to 2g. and my right ear back up to 4g and soon to 2g. im going to 0 next and i dont really wanna go too soon and get infected lol
dont buy shit from hottopic i was 4g went to 2g seems simple right ? wrong my ears got infected so bad it was nasty and i waited 2 months before i stretch so yeah i was pissed my ears are now closed
Need some advice here guys! I ve been lookin for these earskins from kaos for over 2 months in a body jewelery shop but no one has them.. btw I chked out almost every shop in Leeds, UK.. No luck.. But now im in India and really want to know how to get them either of the internet or if someone could send them to me.. Cheers guys!
@ZacNukkaMatesig I think it's different for everyone. The average size to go to so that ears will go back to normal is around 0G, but you *might* be safe in going to 00G.
@benskyben
I'm reckoning that's what it may be, but when I had my 00g skin eyelets they looked fine and they are the same depth wise. I waited 7 months between 7/16th and 1/2in, the lobe shouldn't have thinned out, right?

@tom15911 Is it a double flared tunnel? It's usually best to wait until your ear is used to the new size before trying to put in double flares because you have to put them in at an angle to put them in properly.
If they have no flares and just O-rings, take the O-rings off, put the taper in, then push the taper out WITH the tunnel/plug.
I hope this helped a bit!

do you have you eyebrow pierced twice? if so you should get a corkskrew they are sweet!
twowords1 1 year ago
@twowords1 I do!
And I would if I knew where to get them from :p
BenskyBen 1 year ago
@BenskyBen you can get them on a website called metal mafia. i dont know if you can buy off the website so talk to a local piercer and they might order them for you. i want my eyebrow pierced again to get a corkskrew.

@twowords1 Oh sweet, thanks for that. :)

@BenskyBen no problem. and i do have a question about this video. i can not figure out my silicon tunnels i really cant get them in do you have any advice?
twowords1 1 year ago
@twowords1 It depends on how big they are - The smaller they are, the harder it will be to get in.
In any case, try some lube on your ear/tunnel. It'll make it a bit slippery and hard to hold on to, but once you get a proper hold, it'll be easier to get in. Also, doing it in the/just after a shower help too - The heat allows the skin to be more flexible :)
BenskyBen 1 year ago
@BenskyBen it has been awhile since i commented but i thought i would tell you that the shower trick worked with my double flares..but now i have a different question. how do you take them out?
twowords1 1 year ago
@twowords1 How to take double flares out?
BenskyBen 1 year ago
@BenskyBen yeah welll more the silicons i got confused and couldnt get them out but now i can get double flares out fine.
twowords1 1 year ago
@twowords1 Ah okay.
Well it's kind of similar to putting them in, try to squish them in half and pull them out at an angle like you would do double flares. :)
BenskyBen 1 year ago
@BenskyBen thanks i still cant master my silicons though. but double flares are so easy for me now :) i take them out just for fun.:)

Im about to go up to 7/16 . i noticed tho that the 7/16 is almost the same size as the double zero. super eay jump :)
Streetisourocean 1 year ago
@Streetisourocean Yep, I think most jumps are only 2mm once you go 2G to 0G and up :)

will your ears go back if you go to a 00?
ZacNukkaMatesig 1 year ago
@ZacNukkaMatesig I think it's different for everyone. The average size to go to so that ears will go back to normal is around 0G, but you *might* be safe in going to 00G.
BenskyBen 1 year ago
That's awesome! :D So it's actually cheaper AND better to stretch with silicone? Since those heavy spiral tapers are bad to keep in ear
(soorry if i sent this too many times but youtube won't tell me if it sent this or not)
