  • Theo ripped this young man a new arsehole on this episode

  • It's Patent not Paitent Theo you fucking retard -.-

  • @OnlyUseMaSpaz Haha I know!! I love how he's a business man and can't even say it properly.

  • @TheoriginalJJBusby It angered me hahaha

  • @OnlyUseMaSpaz

    No it isn't...

  • @0lilKayde0 Yes it is.. Considering I've done work it Patent Law I think I would know.

  • @OnlyUseMaSpaz

No, it isn't... Considering I'm a linguist, I think I would know. 'Patent' is American. 'Paitent' is British, though in recent years the American style seems to be gaining precedence.

  • @0lilKayde0 My bad it's the other way round. Ignore me.

  • @OnlyUseMaSpaz

    That's all right =)

  • @0lilKayde0 Who the F^&^k cares about using one or the other way of righting it, damn some people are so pathetic. Listen, KAYDE, do me a favor, go to a website, book a cheap flight to somewhere really exotic, like barbados, or hawaii, phuket, or boracay island in the phiippines, just go there and live it up on the beach for like 3-4 weeks. meet the travellers, the locals, have fun, relax. Just go, dont worry about your job, or your family/friends, just go have fun, for no reason.

  • @Kaybsoul

But I was merely correcting someone making that same point. They said it was ONLY said one way, and I clarified as to what is right. Plus, I was specifically referring to the British way.

  • hes made 2.6 million profit for himself already!

  • I'd like to buy a few. Wonder if they're available in Australia yet?

  • lol - from 15% to 35% with no negotiation in between. what the hell?

  • how in the hell go from 15 to 35 ? is more than the double!!! i think Theo would hace accept 25 - 30% but is great that christian is having succes ... but now i think he has experience by negociating and he will be not being surprised again, anyways he got one of the best drangon's Theo.

  • holy sht.... 35?? i wud ask 20 if they say no, 25

  • THEY are not Dragons they are Vampires sucking the life out of naive little people who don't have a cent to their name. Its more like money lending at 40% +

  • @notandywarhol stfu you cheap communist spammer

  • how the fuck are they dragons, dragons are supposed to stop the inner earth treasures being stolen and mined, that's why you won't see them about on this capitalist nightmare gaia-raping world.

and how do they do it? a little thing called manipulating ley lines and geomancy sciences. break the dragon currents, plunder the Earth.

the real reptilian invasion will be nothing like the evils told of in conspiracy books.

  • Absoutely brilliant pitch. Was very impressed. Just hope its still going well.

  • shoulda offered 25%

  • @thermaldog Don't hate on the guy because he has had the courage to make a product and make a living off of it. Maybe he is gay, but so what? What are you, 12?

  • foldio is the greatest idea ever.

  • 35%!!??!! Why didn't he say 20??

  • What a cute young guy..... :-) and personable too.

  • the product is amazing and it is quite cheap

  • Good looking fella

  • this is such a boring design

  • @chrisjoneschrisjones boring, but brilliant ;)

  • @JinNOSify maybe so,alas

  • wonder if derren brown can brainwash all 5 of them to invest 1 million each for 10% of a company which produces nonsensical stuffs.. lol!

  • Amazing, such a clever boy

  • My Foldio is broken. How do I kill this guy?

  • @C0CK00 buy another one :)

  • But it's not perfectly flat, there's a great big curve in it!

Have you ever tried to work on a piece of paper with a big 90 degree curve on it, it ruins your work!

  • @nattavision yes, and using a similar Foldio concept i can reduce the footprint by more than 50%. just roll up your paper and slide it into a tube, i can be inventor of Rollio and demand 80,000 pounds too.

  • @rlui123 ummm rolling paper sucks because then its hard to lay it flat again :( im afraid 50% is as far as it can go

  • hahaha Peter got put right in his place

  • crookeyed presenter...

  • @Sesquiltera haha

  • jeees he went up a lot on the percentage of the company, 15 to 35 percent... I would have tried 25 percent first....

  • @iiYaMa72 : Trust me that's good when you take all the benefits in mind.

  • @iiYaMa72

35 made sense. The reaction on Theo's face was something to the effect of "this is a great deal". To say 35 meant over extending somewhat, but an extra 10% in equity is a bargain because now he has Theo's expertise, mentorship and resources to help launch the product.

  • Hmm, it didn't look perfectly flat to me when he opened it :/ at 02:25

  • @69DiamondGeezer69 ya but atleast in can be folded out and not permanently creased

  • @69DiamondGeezer69 i dont think thats the full size of the sheet, i think its made so you can fit one sheet on each side. so in other words where it folds doesnt damage paper otherwise invention is pointless

  • @Slimb0yslim Are you an idiot!!???? So YOU CAN STEAL PEOPLE'S IDEAS!???

  • lol theo at the end. 'as i visiosed' its 'visioned' u sloppy wanka

  • @lawslimshady

Actually he said envisaged you sloppy wanka.

  • @lawslimshady Ahahahaha you stupid shit xD

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHHAHA..."I was very impressed I thought this is a young guys he's come up against a problem and he's solved it." Such a great obstacle this guys has overcome, surely he should be given a award?

  • 15 - 35 %???

  • You genius Christian

  • He's a queer en it?

  • Nope, he's got a girlfriend. I know them both

  • Christian was my best friend up until the age of 7, doubt he remembers me now!!

  • just like Santa han?

  • i have a little dog? do u want to come to my little house which is built in the ground?

  • is da guy downstairs always der??? lolll

    cokeyes lmao!!!

    harry enfield lollll

  • paul whitehouse actually :P

  • Yer he just stands there, waits and chats with the cameraman, till the next victim walks down the stairs to greet with his fixed, fake, smug smile :0)

  • haha!

who has earned the most money in Dragons Den?

  • Why the FUCK does the host never look at the camera????? They guy gets paid, right? Can't he manage to learn 5 lines of dialogue? I can't stand him looking off the camera like that.

  • bwaahahaha all the stupid twats.

  • he was in my year at secondary school, weird man

  • who christian?

  • weird? eh

  • You're an idiot.

    -.-;;

  • The young lad is cute :P

  • I need one of those. My papers always get ruined in my folder.

  • My absolute favorite show! I remember this episode - I have to agree, can't imagine that the market potential for this product would be significant enough to create a million dollar business opportunity.

  • haha, at least Peter actually tries...Don't get if you don't ask lol

  • just get a tube and roll the paper in, its even better and smaller

  • hahahahahaha nice one

  • No. The Foldio is better.. your papers actually stay straight. When you roll them up, some of your work are rolled up in the corners. Its really annoying at times.

  • Haha Peter Jones Got Owned :)

  • Great Idea. I would buy one for school if I could.

  • i cant see how those could make him a millionaire

  • I wouldn't buy it. It may not fold the paper but the curve on it will last without a certain amount of patience to flatten it.

  • It makes sense.. If the dragon gives half the money for a larger capitol, it means that he wants another dragon to fill the second half, and the capitol will increase even more, but thats business for ya.. If you went in saying 5% capital, and went out with 40% given to the dragons, it would suck, but you'd have 2 dragons by ur side, who will make sure ur product sells, cause they loose their money too if it doesnt.. 35% for 80k & 2 dragons is a damn gd deal for a 19 y/o if u ask me !!

  • why is it that all the UK dragons like to offer half the money for a higher percentage? makes no sense... from an investee standpoint, getting half of the asking capital is useless because it would do me no good, or else i wouldn't have asked in the first place. I'd understand if they offered me the amount i requested while taking a higher percentage stake in my company, but offering half the capital yet asking for a higher stake is just plain ridiculous...

  • No he was going to give him half the $80K along with Theos half for the 35% stake but give him back 5% a few years down the line, so they'd have 30% in a few years. Christian would still have his 80K.

  • it reduces risk

  • when the dragons offer half the amount, they are hoping that another dragon will offer the other half.

  • Because it is usually a shite idea...so they want to reduce the risk

  • i have a foldio, its quality

  • You can really imagine Christian's product in retails. Good idea!

  • Are you really the guy who invented that?

The foldio is a nice product

  • That little "ee-oop" sound in the music at 2:48, always reminds me of Mario Kart.

  • god he was flaming

  • Christian clearly went into the room solely wanting Theo to invest in him so I'm not sure why he seems surprised that most of the Dragons stepped out. I wonder when Peter Jones will grow out of his tiresome habit of questioning other Dragons offers, supposedly on the pitcher's behalf, as it's a tactic that doesn't seem to pay off very much in his attempts to muscle in on deals.Christian didn't seem to want a dead duck Dragon (in terms of this market) on board this deal for the sake of 5% anyway.

  • It's a shame only about 1 and a half minutes of this is about where the product is now and the rest is just retelling the Den story. Really all we find out is that its release is imminent.

  • i brought a foldio a year ago, quality

  • its probably a great idea but the title 'where are they now' is a bit mistleading...we have no clue if its really doing well or not

  • What does Deborah Meaden say at 2:00?

"i didnt know how old he was but certainly X,Y,Z???"

  • she said "I didn't know how old he was but certainly we got off into a good start"

  • cheers

  • Amazingly well done. very impressive, and very wise. I wish as many people could realise that 65% of a hell of a lot of money, is a lot better than 100% of nothing. a lot of entrepeneurs fail to realise that the mentorring that you are receiving cant be bought.. Apologies for the spelling mistakes, but once again, very well done.

  • I agree, for 80,000 this is a great deal for 35% of a brand that could potentially be developed into the industry standard in carrying large papers/designs/blueprints, etc. Also, the partnerships that could be made from the idea to larger companies is pure gold. Easily one of the best deals on dragon's den.

  • wow.... cheers^^

  • Bravo BBC for producing such a smart show! I am addicted!!!
