@FlameSama1 Yeah, they're pretty inexcusable. The first time I played Sigma, I remember being shocked at how badly the water looked. The effects were clearly just imported from the original Xbox game, and it shows. They did the same thing with the Hayabusa Village in NG2 (not sure about Sigma 2): imported assets straight from NG1. The ground texture in particular looked terrible, being that it was covered in low-resolution leaves.
@TheSeraphim17 Oh, most certainly; gameplay should always take greater importance over visuals. The problem I had wth the water was more the fact that it was so inconsistent with the way the rest of the game looked. They improved most everything else visually, but left the water seemingly untouched. Bizarre.

yeah, they are not breaking any records with them. That being said, playing NG for graphics is like playing Guitar hero for the storyline
