I heard stories where ones the women arrive in the jails the police rape them. The reason they scream so much when they get arrested is because they know exactly what awaits them in jail. Islam is the most hypocrite religion in the world - they publicly arrest women for breaking "Islamic" rules, but in private those same "protectors of Islam" sexually abuse the innocent women ones they arrive in jail - when no one is watching.

Many people in Iran are not practicing muslims but they are forced to be called Muslim. If they evey decide to change to another religion, the sentence is death. If an Iranian woman marries a non-muslim her sentence is dead. If she has children with a non-muslim, her children and herself can be sentenced to death.

@silatk what can we do in the US to help? Here there is so much tolerance for all things Islamic and middle eastern that nobody wants to consider such atrocities as these. I would love to join an Iranian group in the US fighting against this, and drawing attention to it.
