Racism is simply an ugly form of collectivism, the mindset that views humans strictly as members of groups rather than individuals.

By encouraging Americans to adopt a group mentality, the advocates of so-called diversity acutally perpetuate racism. Their obsession with racial group identity is inherently racist.

We should understand that racism will endure until we stop thinking in terms of groups and begin thinking in terms of individual liberty.

I enjoy when Ron Paul expounds on the idea that we have enough laws to handle almost, (if not all), of today's problems. Our Constitution written by forward-thinking men was well thought out. It's too bad that our Senators and Congressmen adjure to protect and defend the Constitution and then do everything contrary to that! They must be held accountable. This is akin to perjury!

I agree with you, it goes deeper than that. Her name doesn't come to mind right now, but a former NEA head was disgusted when she was compelled to institute measures to help minorities to learn and pass tests. Apparently, many minority persons couldn't pass the tests and curriculum so we lowered the standards so they could pass the tests, effectively DUMBING DOWN OUR education and our country.

I thought the same thing the first time I heard him say that. The DOE is redundant and unnecessary. Its your state and county that pay for nearly all of your education. Having the DOE get involved just takes your right to petition your local government away and puts it in the hands of someone in D.C. And we all know how well they listen!

It is our responsibility as parents to demand better. The DOE should either be limited to setting guidelines and collecting data or it should be eliminated.
