Just brilliant! In high school and college a hundred years ago I used to play slide as well as valve trombone. Great instruments. I was pretty good but could never even THINK about being as good as these gals!!

Not only do they not have keys to press down your basically moving a giant tuning slide around, not to mention the difficulty brass players have of going up and down the partials. As an ex-trombone player, I can say this is out of this world. It is hard to find things like trombone music in the first place, then to find four women playing like this is absolutely amazing. The bass player put me to shame. But they are all professionals, they have been all over the world in different orchestras, etc. So no one should take them as anything like people on Britains Got Talent or anything like that, but enjoy anyway.

When I was a kid my grandpa played trombone in the White Bear Lake (MN) community orchestra. They would play this at the finale of every performance. Each instrument group would stand and file out during the piece. The big horns would always be there until the end.
