I do enjoy watching Koren's organizing and craft videos BUT I have to say I don't like the make-up looks that he does. The colors are a bit much and they are placed so high on the lid that it looks like a kid put it on instead of a make-up artist!! This is just my opinion!!

I got my makeup done @ mac for New Years & told them I was wearing a black dress & they did almost the EXACT same look on me! I didn't even say what I wanted. I thought my lips were a little too dark so I put a more nude color on after, but I love the smokey blue! It's a fun way to change up a smokey eye for a holiday! Happy New Year!

is it just me or is this FAR TOO MUCH frost and glitter for a new years party? FAR too much blue, blended up far too high, it just seems to over powering. i know makeup looks for nye are smokey and sultry, but this is just far too much. The lips are amazing i will admit, but the eyemakeup, i just dont like it.

i dont hate enkoremakeup, infact i watch it religiousally and i think he is amazingly talented. but just this particular look, yer kind of a fail for me.

agree with you about the eyes blending it so high up is so 80's and to be frank, for hookers. just so much and trust me, i wear more makeup than the average person but so that it's tacky. lips are bad too, darker liner can be used to contour but not blended enough so it was tacky. im just saying this because i want to agree with you and so that people don't completely slaughter who don't like this look b/c i love enkore too just not this. but still all the power to him!!

Hi Koren! Your sister is beautiful! I really love the blue smoky eye look. Perfect for a New Year's Eve party and definitely a night look. I don't think she looks like a chola because she's not going to be wearing that look during the day and she's not wearing black Sharpie lips. I don't claim to be an expert but this look would balance better if her

lips were maybe a soft rose or lighter because the emphasis is on her eyes.

I have the same shape and hooded eye as your sis, so I was glad to see a dramatic look for this shape. (Wish I had her eyebrows!) Pity she didn't want a purple eyeshadow look because that would make her beautiful brown eyes really stand out.

Maybe it's because I grew up in the 70's/80's, but I think blue e/s is the most difficult color to wear...

I love the dramatic lip especially. I think that lip, and a simple-ish eye (black liner and that gorgeous silvery glitter) would be a perfect look.

Its a matter of opinion sweetie. And never use craft/decoration glitter on/near your eyes. They aren't eye safe so they could cause irritation which could lead to infection.
