I like Benicio but as a Cuban I'm deeply sadened by this historical in-accuracy and obvious Hollywood Left Leaning Re-articulation of Che. del Torro is part Puerto Rican anyway and Che was Argentinian.

whats del toro's native language. I know he speaks both English and spanish fluently but which one does he prefer. I'm gonna use me as an example. I can speak spanish and english but i'm more comfortable with English. When ever i speak spanish to my mother, in my head I translate what I'm saying in English. But from listening to his interviews im guessing its english.

I think his native languauge is spanish since he is puerto rican but moved to the us when he was very very young, so to answer i think native language is spanish, preference english since he grew up here all his life.
