Like many others, this was the processional for my wedding a zillion years ago, before weddings were recorded on film. I had only a lousy cassette tape recording with the person holding the recorder coughing the entire time. Thank you for sharing.
A magnificent instrument in a gorgeous room. Would that the photo were of the entire organ. Thanks for this fine performance on the Holy Cross Taylor and Boody. I'd welcome more!
hey fluteceleste, just thought I would check that the organ that you played this on is in the Chapel of Saint Josephs at Holy Cross College and not Marsh Chapel at BU. did know if you realized you listed it that way, also the piece was played brilliantly.
This was my wedding march many moons ago. It sounded like God was coming down the aisle when all of the stops were out. It still gives me goosebumpn to this day. A truly magnificent piece!!
it was built by Taylor and Boody in 1985 in the north german baroque style and certainly is an outstanding instrument as it is of entirely mechanical action.
That sounds to me like a spanish voiced instrument. I like the composition and the Church Building. Good performance 5 stars from me on this one. Keepem comming...
I hope your congregation REALLY appreciates you.

Gosh, this recording does the organ no justice! It is truly a work of art and the room is perfect.

Great sounds! I love this piece when played by brass quartet. Good piece to use for weddings also.

Enjoyed this performance. Good to hear an organ with some 'guts'. :)

Probably Baroque, although the reeds are a better teller than just principals and mixtures.

I thought so. Taylor and Boody are excellent builders.
