The problem with this is it encourages film makers to not give two shits about camera work. They just mask the bad visuals with a butt load of colouring. This vid is a good example.

@ROFEN91 Hit Alt + Enter at the same time in sony vegas then customize width and hight to the size of your video. There is aspect ratio there too. If shortcut alt+enter doesnt work go to 'Project' in upper left and then at the end you see 'properties' open that too and the same thing will happen.

I don't like Magic Bullet Looks presets, specially the Blockbuster... Maybe they are okay for people that want fast color grading and stylize their videos without knowing how, but they don't work for me. It crushes the blacks and whites way too much, and takes away detail from the picture.

I ended up building a custom blockbuster Look from scratch, and whenever I need color grading only (no vignetting, diffusion, etc) I just use Colorista.

Great video! Simple suggestion for less jerk in your pans; try using an ordinary elastic band around your tripod handle and pull with the elastic band. Great DIY solution! Then see how smooth your pans are. Also makes a beautiful smooth slow to stop. Practice with it and you'll see a dramatic improvement in the quality of your pan shots. :-)

AMD graphics card firmware has broken Magic Bullets Looks for Studio. The last working firmware is ATI 10.4 Catalyst. I have emailed AMD to tell them to sort the issue because Red Giant say that they will not fix someone else's mistake... and they are right to say that as well.

So if you want it fixed, contact AMD.

If you get the Pinnacle Studio Ultimate Collection a lot of Red Giant software is included- like the Magic Bullet Looks. That's probably the cheapest way to legitimately get them. If you have to buy them separate they're expensive. I only mention Pinnacle in case you haven't already got Adobe.

**Can anyone help please** - I've been using Magic Bullet Looks in FCP for about a month and suddenly it's not allowing me to edit the Looks Builder when I add the filter to a clip? The 'EDIT tab is missing. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

@TheCutClub I sorted it! I was using an external monitor and when you have the 'Viewer' window open on the other screen it hides the 'EDIT' tab. That's for anyone who discovers this problem too!!

That blockbuster makes a big difference. I think I like the aggressive bronze the best and the blockbuster second.

@ar4216 In my opinion Bronze Aggressive is too dark and compromises way too many details. Also the Blockbuster effect has more of a green tone which makes it look very hollywood movie-like.

its a plugin. however, for those of us that already had pinnacle before the magic bullet launch, we're, quite frankly, shit out of luck. i've strained the pinnacle site, checked for upgrades on the program itself, even googled the damn thing, and there seems to be no way to acquire magic bullet if you dont buy the stupid program again. thanks again for choppin our feet off pinnacle!
