@trevyn41 i am using the Hip Hop drum kit, and i activated the effect simply named "Scratch". I think it's number 31. in categories, i believe it's in the modification/pitch category. also, you'll want to set the input to the joystick x axis. by default, it sets it to Y, which is not comfortable to use. after you get the scratch working, play around with adding other effects as well, i added some kind of Wah effect and it came out great! hope this helps!
I've had the M50 since August and have made awesome beats using it's internal sequencer and have it paired up with an Akai MPD26 control Pad to trigger samples using Reason 5. Any DAW software is cool. However, if you think the M50's sequencer is too complicated you have no place making beats. Maybe look for a little Yamaha Portatone and start with Old MacDonald's Farm. Awesome job with the beat travlemon.
hi. i actually never use built in workstations with keyboards, i find it to be too difficult. however the m50 has usb connectivity and is very easy to use with any standard digital audio workstation software. i personally use Cubase
Curiosity , I see you have the 88 key with the RH3 keys, did you by chance play one of the others without the weighted keys, buying one and am getting the 73 or 88, wanted an opinion on the playability.
what's the combi or prog you're using?? I'm trying to figure out how to scratch for a gig tomorrow... thanks!

I don't know how people do that on keys! I can only groove on a drumkit or I have to layer tracks in sequencer.
