  • hi,

how does the bass react when you downtune it ( drop d)?

  • @biavbiav it's perfectly fine, no problems at all.

  • @biavbiav I play this bass in an A7X cover band. It does wonders.

  • Hi, where is it made ? Regards !

  • @matalaco i found out from a forum online that the fender modern player bass guitars are made in China.

  • Learn a bit about the bass before you tell people what it does. It has 2 pickups, the p style is one. If you could turn half of it off, you wouldn't hear two of the strings.

Awesome bass though, I'm glad youre happy with it.

  • I will get this bass, Thanks again for having it.....

  • You should only do a review if you know about the instrument she he

  • The audio is really quiet. But I was able to hear Hop A Plane. :D

  • @FriendlyShadow1 yeah, i don't have the best of microphones :/ but yeah, i love playing hop a plane :D

  • @woohoo04 So how do you feel about the P/J combination?

  • @woohoo04 I purchased the Modern Player Jazz in Olympic White as the bass that you have that I wanted wont be in stock until 1/26/12 and I didnt feel like waiting to play. The Modern Player is Great however I find it kind of heavy at only 12 pounds. "Wimpy" but I see that the bass that you have that I wanted is also 12 pounds, do you find it heavy?

  • @SOSMARIO2 i think that it's the average weight for a bass guitar, quite heavy. but i knew that weight would be a problem when buying a bass guitar, so i made sure that i bought a very wide and thick guitar strap so that it wouldn't make my shoulder ache so much, and i find the weight of the guitar just fine :)

  • @Pokemon101Pokemon i think that would depend on how long you've been playing bass for. i've played guitar for almost 5 years and bass for about over a year so when i play it doesn't hurt my fingers at all. but if you're a beginner then i think any guitar would hurt your fingers after a long session of playing.

  • Playing-wise, would you say that this bass is easy to play or does it start to hurt your fingers easily?

  • Almost every bass will hurt your fingers if you're just starting

  • Its got 2 pickups, the split 'P' pickup just counts as one pickup, so there is no 'middle' pickup. The first knob is the volume for the P pickup, the second is the volume for the Bridge pickup (J pickup) and the final knob is the tone knob, not the bridge, which is why there was no output when it was turned on full and the volume knobs were turned down. Just thought I'd let you know! nice bass!

  • @ZetsubouTV haha was in the middle of writing this.

  • @ravenshield56 well, that doesn't really matter now, does it? but for your information i'm a girl.

  • Man or woman?

  • you on drugs???

  • @razisejoy PLUS 1, It woud'nt kill you to at least talk loud enuff to be heard. There should be laws against things like this.

  • Cool review was torn between this and the telecaster bass

  • there arn't any reviews at all, thank you for this, iv'e been really looking at it a lot and it'll be my 1st bass also

  • @Blaiseonboard Made in China
