  • I was unaware that sailplanes used props? wouldn't this technically be classified as a propellar RC aircraft

  • Yes, you're right, it would be classified as a propeller powered aircraft, even though it is a sailplane that uses an electric motor to gain altitude before gliding. This is what it is. I should have called it a "Powered sailplane" in order to eliminate some confusion.

  • Just seen first pic of plane. Is that 900 MHZ TX?

  • ordered goggles from hobbywireless dot com. The $299.00 pair. I recommend this pair for you. Also when futurehobbies Dot com get in the 900 MHZ 700 milliwatt video system I will have too. The 900 MHZ sould be better over the water. Also less chance of split second fade when landing. I now have a sea plane. It will take off not only in water, but at a field too. At Lake Mead will take off on land and touch and go on water while flying with goggles.

  • Great job on this video. Great guitar music too. System is from supercircuits? Email ray with link, I would like to view your equipment. I will get your email from Ray. That plane would be very easy to fly with Goggles. If you do be sure to get an 8DBI patch antenna for RX for your video. That way with the broad degree of angle, plus you can faly out and up higher too with no worries.
