When people reject the concept & practice of chiropractic based on prejudices, they will get the care that is based on chemical toxicity for any problem, no matter what the problem is. Chiropractic care is for those select people who have a larger paradigm and seek health care instead of disease care. Those that reject chiropractic care get that result.

Please research all your doctors, medications and treatments not only chiropractors. Do not be overly skeptical though. You may talk yourself out of the only care that will work. Chiropractic physicians are skilled doctors that are trained and licensed to adjust the spine. Their education is very similar to medical doctors. The main exception is that chiropractors focus on treating patients without the use of drugs, needles or surgery. They offer a service that no other physician can.

Love the video!! This is the exposure that will only tell truth. It is very unfortunate this medical student that commented has already closed his mind off to truth. there's little harm in chiropractic, and even less benefit for that matter. Actually, when a chiropractor with their limited knowledge tries to pretend what they are NOT (medical doctors), is when they get into big trouble. sometimes they try to be heroes and do stuff that is out of their scope of knowledge, and ends up with a big law suit. Just don't let them touch your neck. I'm a medical student and there are far too many crucial structures in your neck.

Yes, I agree with you that a chiropractor should not pretend to be a medical doctor - and that could be dangerous. Noone should pretend to be something they are not, because that can lead to fatal consequences. However, one of the most dangerous things would be if a medical doctor tried to act as a Chiropractor - that would not end good!

I am a medical doctor and got a chiropractic degree after I treated by a chiropractor. The anti-chiro era is already passed and chiropractic profession became more and more clear in scientific basis. I think you need to update your knowlege little bit to accept something other than traditional medicine.

This video is forward thinking. The mechanistic view of the human body based only on science is the view of those who don't understand chiropractic. This profession is a vitalistic profession which understands that there are more than parts controlling the body. There is a vital force, an innate intelligence that controls and coordinates all functions of the body.

Science is only driven by the philosophy that precedes it; and science will never be able to prove of find a vital source.

Firstly, Chiropractors learn more human anatomy than medical doctors (among other things). Secondly, only chiropractors can release subluxations, much the same way dentists take care of cavities. You wouldn't go to any other doctor for a tooth ache, right? Chiropractors know how to detect and correct subluxations, especially in the neck! Thirdly, medical doctors don't learn about subluxations, therefore it is out of their scope of knowledge and they should not give advice on it!

I am a chiropractic student and agree that it is disappointing when chiropractors claim to treat conditions and visceral diseases outside of their scope of practice but to say things like "Just don't let them touch your neck" If you are in medical school you should know better than to make comments on subjects that you have not done research on. Do your homework before you pass judgement on cervical adjustments. PS: "Try to be heroes and do STUFF..." Come on med school taught you better.

@TripD145 As a chiropractic student you must learn and accept that chiropractic does not treat diseased viscera the way medicine chooses. Chiropractic spinal adjustments helps the body correct its viscera by addressing the underlying cause...lifestyle and nerve interference which by the way are intertwined. So in essence tripD145, chiropractic rightfully addresses dis-eased viscera...in an indirect fashion. good luck in chiropractic.

check the scientific research for nsaids...there isn't much....there are alot of studies comparing nsaids to chiro where chiro has given longer results....even the medics recognize this....ignorance sucks dude...
