I wish I could say we have this much live steam in Missoura, but Id be lying lol.That fella with the Hudson and his long string of heavyweights just wins me over.
This is amazing, hon. ^.^ I never knew this little live steam railroad was so busy at times. But aside from that, it's very cool. ^^ Remind me, which engine was yours? ^^() Either way, top-notch job. ;-)
@kkatswell56 - Thanks for your kind words :) I don't own an engine at present, but the ones I ran during the weekend were the ones at 0:43, 5:50 and 7:00 :)
@trainmaster844 Actual if you looked on the banner on the tent in the middle of the 7 1/2. It said as well I am fairly sure 7 1/4 as well. I think I recognized the southern.
Love the Reading Pacific with coaches (;

@2102FAN - With you at the throttle, of course! ;) Those coaches were pretty nice - pity they had to go to a museum after that...

@Rockinrailroader765 - That's all right! :) That Hudson and cars are owned by Mr. Patrick Murphy, one of the many experienced members at the track.

That's very nice live steamers they've got there. I didn't even know there were some British style live steamers at 0:38 and 0:43!

Sweet! It seems also I have seen some of the locos at trainfest 09.

@MrRailroadrunner - I'm not entirely sure... the engines at TF2009 were 7 1/2 in. gauge, while these are 7 1/4 in. gauge...

@trainmaster844 I think it's both because I see dual gauge track.

Question.
Let's say one of these trains derailed.
Would the people running the railway need a crane, or can they simply lift it with their hands?
tencents6 9 months ago
@tencents6 Usually with the cars you can pick them up by hand, the locos only need a basic lever to lift them up.
