Wow, it seems like a lot of people don't understand this video. Debating over ridiculously small details like what shot the studio would switch to in the even their chopper feed was cut is a complete oversight of the great work that has been done here. This is a fun concept design that is presented in a unique and interesting way. It takes a lot of range of skill to be able to produce this kind of thing. Great work, keep it up, continue to have fun!

@MajorKoenig156 . The robot's heat sensory CPU has failed, so it's only targeting object's it sees as 'the enemy'; namely vehicles with large heat signatures (engines) - cars in the street and.... news choppers!

Any autonomous machine capable of killing humans like that would have dedicated, isolated shut down hardware. ie: We send a signal, it's power core disconnects/shuts down

This video raises many questions. Why would a news cast filming a horrendous shooting not even take one glance at the victims? And why would the tv-signal disappear altogether just because the news-helicopter is shot down? Makes very little sense ;-)

@theNimboo I'm aware.. but as soon as he makes it a supposed "news cast" he submits it as a narrative. Even as a simple narrative it makes no sense. If this was only a model demonstration he should have just submitted it as a 3D model with no bullshit.. he obviously tried to make it something more. This way it comes off as a disappointment to some of the viewers. Not that its a big deal.. I'm only giving the guy some pointers to what he could have done better. The animation is fine.

@jesperc20 As jesperc30 has said, I did this brief animation as a bit of fun, simply to showcase the robot in a non-sterile way. I'm a designer, not an animator, so showing the crowd was never an option. This is intended just as a quirky alternative to my other C.R.A.B. Robot video. PS, the tv-signal doesn't drop when the chopper is shot, otherwise you wouldn't see the 'No Signal' message or the news graphics/ticker.

@jamiefmartin Normally the feed would switch back to the studio if the live feed (aka helicopter) is cut. This way it indicates that the tv-studio is also eradicated (except the transmitter itself). Anyway.. nice robot-design.
