  • hey ed i think you should try this again, but use your sons cummins against the tractor see who wins that one

  • @myideasoffun We just might!

  • i love how this video doesnt look like the camera guy doesnt have parkinsons disease, thats why i stayed to watch more

  • @GhostXoP Shaky the camera guy was not on duty this day LOL Thanks for watching!

  • So much for editing it.

  • @DiarmaidGNR ??? Did you want the truck to win...

  • @edzgarage The guy in the clip says "I'll just edit this bit out", (the bit where they walk over to the vehicles) but he doesn't.

  • @DiarmaidGNR That guy (me) is sorry! lol

  • you must have been cluching the tractor or somethingor the

  • @walkersallnite I was pushing the clutch in and giving him a chance.

  • I am a farmer that tractor doesn't have the power or the traction to pull that tractor up high enough to flip it back words and no I'm not wrong with what I said I've driven many of them no you don't hook around the rear axel of the tractor and you do not hook it to the frame rail of the belly either doing both can cause the tractor to brake you hook the draw bar or the rear arms of the tractor if you want ill give a number to call ill let you hear from many farmers that your wrong

  • @fordsneverrest3 Thanks for the comment! I KNOW these tractors can flip over... I've seen it, and have gone to the hospital with the guy that almost got killed pulling a car out of a ditch with an 8N when it flipped. Say what you may, but I would rather risk breaking the frame then to have the tractor on top of me. I don't think any good farmer would ever discount the power of these machines. p.s. no disrespect intended and hope the same is true of your comment -Ed

  • @edzgarage Right. Ive seen tractors like this with less power. If you can flip backwards a riding mower, then a full tractor will to. If it has the power to pull another ford like nothing lol. Then it will do just like what you said. Low gearing ftw lol.

  • @tom58c Thanks Tom!

  • @fordsneverrest3 you are wrong my friend. my next door neighbor met jesus back in 71 when his jubilee flipped backward on him.i helped get the tractor off of him.i am not trying to start a fuss with you i just happend to see it .

  • @dbrab1 Sorry to hear about your neighbor. I wish people would believe just how dangerous these tractors can be.

  • 1 other person got beat by the Jubilee lol

  • @SeaDollarsBertram lol have you seen others get beat by an old Ford?

  • My grandfather's 9N would lift its nose pulling stumps, even using a large disc harrow although the harrow would keep it from going more than a few inches. Just be ready with the clutch if it goes!

  • @pdutube Yep, you have to be careful. These tractors have surprisingly good torque.

  • my neighbor used a ford 8 n to pull the cars out of his back yard and its a hill and he hooked it to the back and it didnt flip the tires didnt come off the ground

  • @Tiffany420Starr You don't have to believe me if you don't want to, but my friends son was nearly killed when his 8N flipped while trying to pull a car out of the ditch. Don't say I didn't warn you and everyone else if someone gets hurt pulling from the rear. -Ed

  • @edzgarage yeah i did that with my atv once but it didnt flip but almost

  • @ESP471 Yep, it can be a very dangerous way to pull. Thanks for the comment!

  • @edzgarage do u live in canada

  • @ESP471 No

  • @edzgarage shouldennt ask that considering the info is in ur channel

  • @edzgarage i want to be a machanic too

  • @ESP471 Anyone can be a mechanic! Just don't be intimidated and don't be afraid to ask for help.

  • @edzgarage yep i agree

  • u could have put the plow all the way up and hooked the chain to the back of plow and still would not pick the front of that tractor up u dont hook the chain to the axle cause u are risking breaking the tractor the front end of them tractors are to heavy to lift of the ground especially with the loader frame and bucked and u use the rear arm or the draw bar to pull not the front of the tractor

  • I'm sorry to tell you you're wrong. The front of the tractor does come off the ground when chains are connected to the rear axle. I have seen it done! The 8n I have was flipped pulling a car out of a ditch and guy on the tractor was seriously hurt. Please don't tell others they can pull from the rear axle, they can and will get hurt! Tractors have more torque in 1st gear with directional tires then people realize. I would not have said it if it wasn't true. Thanks for watching -Ed

  • the f250 puled 2wd!!!!!!!!once

  • Jubilee making the f250 feel bad, thats not nice.

And yes those tractors wheely easy! Plowing one time, wasnt fun when I hooked a pipe.

  • fellers you dont wrap nothin around the axels of a tractor.. you'll bend somthing that way. if your pullin, either use hidrolic bars or the hitch

  • Did you watch the video and listen to what I said in the beginning?

  • LOL! That's right! Taught him a lesson and he didn't even know it.

  • Sweet man. if you would, have a look at my videos

  • Thanks, I will check them out.

  • That's what they put drawbars on tractors for......

  • .....and your point? I said don't put the chain around the axle.

  • that pick up needs about 1500 pounds in the box for some traction, then I think it would be a different story

  • I think you are right. Pavement might make difference too.

  • the plow for my john deere l mounts between the front wheels so it doesnt jump up if i hit a rock! nothing pulls like an old tractor!

  • Now if that was a John Deere tractor, that ford truck wouldn't even had a chance!! haha

  • Not the first and not the last. he he he

  • Nothing pulls like a Ford Tractor !!!!

  • That's right!
