Does mt2+Solid state amp(say 30w) give a tube like sound?

I am confused in choosing the foll

1. mt2+solid state amp

or

2. Combo amp like cube 30x or laney prism p35

I know the combo amp gives a tube like sound but does the first option give a tube like sound too?
