Thomas Jefferson almost copied out Thomas Paine's Common Sense pamphlet in the Declaration of Independence. Thomas Paine hated and dispised the bible and organized religion. He was a deist and not a xian. Had Thomas Paine know about Darwin's discovery of evolution, he'd probably not even been a deist but he was born too early to get that info. The Constitution was written while Jefferson was in France. You can read Jefferson's autobiography about that. It's really short.
Anything that sticks it to people who think they're so smart that they spent tens of thousands on an education they could have obtained with $1.50 in late fees at the local library says yes to me. The only difference between them and I is that they have a meaningless piece of paper and I have memories and the ability to think for myself. Unfortunately, the system is rigged to favour those meaningless pieces of paper, by people who give out those meaningless pieces of paper that signify nothing.
