CLASSIC Chemistry between Peter Reckell as (then 19-year-old) Bo Brady & Wayne Northrop as the noble Roman Brady: Icon of Law, Order & Justice. Great performances, and this short little scene sets up SO much of the Brady family dynamic that has been built on in the past 27 years.
We all remember this, but thanks for posting it so now we can click & see it anytime we like !
I had never seen this before now. Bo and Marlena's first meeting, wow. I'm suprised we don't hear about this more often. I suppose though it has to do with the lack of clips we see of Roman and Marlena since Roman had that face transplant.
Marlena was so much more likable back then with the REAL Roman (Wayne Northrup) before she went all crazy when she came back from the dead in the 90s.
Classic Bo. I thought the Cain and Abel approach worked well here. Peter and Wayne were convincing. I LOVE the microwave gift. Everyone wanted a microwave in those days, especially those of us who couldn't cook. Such a fitting gift for Marlena.
Roman and Bo quickly became friends and have stayed that way. I guess since Marlena was with Roman first and Bo was always with Hope it was kind of off bounds. But then again, nothing is off bounds in Salem. So who knows. Maybe the writers actually knew better for once.
THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE SEEN THIS ONE! heheeh smoochies from the bro-in-law! LMAO!!

Those Brady Men certainly know how to make an entrance, don't they?
Only 2 years earlier, Big-Bro-Roman came into town "stalking" Marlena, then camping on her floor !
"You've got a point there...it would have been tough on my motorcycle..."
"My favorite is the little plastic guy. He's kind of stiff...reminds me of YOU, Roman"
"I paid good cash for this !"
"I know you a LOT better than my wife does !"
" I don't have to BE like you !"
"I'm Outta Here !"
1 scene sets up YEARS of stories!

She mentions the stolen microwave to him in the scenes after she returns in '91, where she's visiting him on the Fancy Face :)

I wish they'd let us buy dvds of the 80's days, it was definately the best era. Peter and Wayne had real brother chemistry

Bo was so much cooler as a thugish anti-hero, compared to the dullard he is now (even with pychic powers!)

That's because Hope took his manhood away.

I agree, I only liked her with Roman (Wayne!) She became so lowrent after he died in '84. Blech!

Love this stuff. Do you have Kristian/Hope's first day. Never seen it.
BTW, that microwave is GIANT.

It's the 80s.....everything was bigger back then! lol ;)

No kidding. The later the decade went on, though, the bigger and more absurd they tended to get--hair, shoulder pads, make-up...stuff.
