Then it started getting weaker sometime between the black album and Load. Check out the videos from Moscow '91, and I'll guarantee you he sounds very metal.

I may be a minority, but I like St. Anger. It's a very raw, down-your-throat type metal and it lets you know who owns you. Load and ReLoad were basicly experiments, and there was some good stuff in there too. If you want one that gets you pumped, you listen to Fuel. If you want one to bang your head on you listen to King Nothing. If you want one to relate to with problems, you listen to Low Man's Lyric.

Sabbath is unique and impossible to replicate, but they were so great that it would be a shame if nobody covered their music, especially since the new incarnation of Sabbath (Heaven and Hell) isn't playing their Ozzy era songs.

When the huge success with the black album was a new world for them I remember Lars saying that it would never change them... hehe... but when they returned they had short hair, a western look, new sound and makeup so I would say that it did get them big time. Anyway, they seem to be back in shape more or less and that is a good thing :-) . A great band anyhow.
